Valankulam Lake Park — Attraction in Central Zone

Had a wonderful family time. Lovely atmosphere. Neatly maintained walk pathway for people to enjoy the evening walk. Pathway also very neat and clean. We visited on weekend and it was little bit crowded.There is a Children's park for kids.

One of the best place to take photoshoot. There is no decent snacks shops or bakery operational in the place. Hope more shops I'll be opened in the coming days.

One of the biggest nuisance I had seen here is drunk people are lying everywhere in the pathway which is really not comfortable while walking with family. Even few people were sleeping inappropriately without knowing that they are sleeping in public place. Police should take care of those people who is doing publice nuisance.

One more thing is, still almost 70% of the pathway not fixed with lights so it is completely dark after 6.30 pm. This pathway has container type of resting places everywhere to relax while walking. In all those places I saw only couples lying on the lap and enjoying their evening which is also public nuisance. Really Couples are taking advantage of this place. I saw couples literally doing nasty behaviours in public. Every 50 to 100 meters couples are sitting in dark and doing publice nuisance. It is really irritating to see such youngsters in public place. How a family will walk in that pathway with their kids???? Police should take strict action against those youngsters who is doing public nuisance.

Apart from these two public nuisance everything good here. My humble request to Coimbatore corporation is to fix the lights in entire pathway. Atleast on Sunday please keep all the lights on in...

This lake located near ukadam bus stand. Coimbatore municipal corporation maintains the park. Good place for photo shoot, in the morning and evening time many people are use this place for walking. Near government hospital entrance of the lake we have mini children park. In that many child playing games available. The park maintained well by city corporation. For two wheeler lot of parking spaces available. Four wheel vehicles difficult park near the lake. Some chat type food items we can get near by road side. No...

Excellent lake view. It is one of the best place to hangout with friends and family. Wide Walking zone around the lake. 5 pm to 7 pm will be the best time to take photoshoots.

Smart City project work is going on. Food court hasn't opened yet. Restroom and parking spaces are not available.
