My Experience: Being a big fan of Courtallam Border Rajnath kadai in Courtallam, I was surprised to hear that they opened in Coimbatore. I was there in Coimbatore and just wanted to check the location. I didn't realise that Nov 29th was the opening day and was very surprised to be there on the opening day. Last I tasted their specialities was back in 2006 in Courtallam and was very eager to visit Courtallam specifically for their food. I am glad that I could taste their food without the hassle of traveling to Courtallam. Without even looking at the menu, I straight up ordered their Border Parotta and their Classic Gun Chicken(I forgot the name of the dish and had to explain the dish to order it). I was not that hungry, so ordered only 2 Parotta and 1 Gun and at the end of meal I had devoured 6 Parottas and 3 Gun Chicken dishes. I had a cold to that day, but 30mins after the meal my sinus was cleared out, that's the level of pepper used in their dishes. l am not sure if I would get a seat this easy in the future, but I wouldn't mind waiting to devour their specialties...

Read moreIf you cannot respect vegetarian orders, then please stop listing veg items and run as a purely non-veg restaurant.
It is a customer’s choice to have food, drinks, or desserts in any order. But the person taking orders was not interested in serving what we asked for — some items never came at all.
After the main dish arrived, I repeatedly asked for veg kuruma at least 100 times through different staff members. No one bothered to respond. Finally, when I asked the manager, he casually said veg kuruma is over. If you don’t have it, why do you even accept vegetarian orders?
You are not running a charity service — we are paying customers. This is not the first time we’ve faced such issues. Staff at this branch alone are enough to spoil the entire brand name.
Nobody listens to customer problems, and there’s no proper option to give complaints or suggestions.
Overall: Very worst experience. Not worth even a single star. You spoiled our weekend mood completely. I will never recommend or visit this...
Read moreCockroach Biryani - No offence on the management just worried they didn’t even bother though I informed them about it silently.
I’ve been to this place for lunch and was very irritated with the welcome gestures. There were all confused where to find seat for two people despite the space that they had in the 1st floor with minimum of 20 persons occupancy. And finally they concluded to let us go upstairs!!
Now comes the food, we ordered Biryani and Gun chicken.
Mutton Biryani - The first bite of Biryani had fully cooked/fried cockroach in it, luckily we noticed and called the management to take into their attention. They just took the biryani pot from our table but the same was served to the people sitting in another table.
Gun Chicken - Completely oily.
To the Management - If you guys have time to see the review in the span of making money - When a food served had such insects try not to serve it to anyone. One day’s loss wouldn’t stop you guys from buying your bread for...
