This municipal garden was constructed during portuguese regime by camara municipal de Margao around 75 years back, In those days various types of flower plants were grown which were brought from Europe. This is the only beautiful garden where one can sit on compound where nice and neat benches are provided . Throughout the day one can see people seating on such benches . Especially Margao population prefer to sit outside instead of sitting inside . Inside the gsrden there are many fine benches placed under trees for shade ans some near near beautiful flowers plants.. To entertain public songs also are played with loudspeaker., To me I always like to have at_least one round whenever I happen ...

Nice to just sit and watch the world go by, plenty of shade. Great ice creams nearby. Right in the centre of town. Who would think that such a beautiful Park could be found in the centre of this bustling city.If arriving by bus just cross the road and you find yourself in this well maintained and peaceful haven.Indeed a credit to those who look after this lovely colourful place. A nice park located between the bus stops, the market, etc ... A nice park between the bus stop (many busses for different places)...
