We had visited Mudgaon in Feb 2025 & stayed at a hotel near Margao railway station & the market was just 2 km for which while traveling from hotel to market the Auto guy charged us ₹100 which is expensive but we agreed. However while returning from the market the Autos in the stand were asking for ₹500 one of them agreed for ₹350 which was still expensive. This is one of the reasons I don't want to go to...
Read moreAlthough the Market is a boon for the public, either goans or outsiders, it's like a maze, and you have to ask for directions if you are not used to the congested public, sometimes walking shoulder to shoulder....it's sad the government is not taking care of the rain water leakage, that the public have to dodge small puddles and dirt, to get out or move around.... everything is available inside the market. Spices, clothes, fruits, utensils, seeds for plants, grains, immitation jewellery, Goan sweets, various meats, footwear and lots of items...a person needs time to tour the whole...
