Hi Mr. Owner, To continue regarding your reply on my review, I provide my justification as so -- (Am making a new post because I don't think there is an option for replying to your previous reply. If there is an option, I'm not aware of it).

Firstly, I suggest that you do not assume that I take pleasure in giving FALSE information in reviews. I ALWAYS have given accurate descriptions which can be verified by anyone at anytime.

When I say the quantity is less, it is commensurate to the price. The quantity of the cabbage foogath, kismoor, salad and the kokum drink is very clear to see. You have it served in two plates because the main plate itself is a normal diner plate and not the thali plate and all the bowls are kept within this normal plate. And the only other 2nd plate which came was the bowl of prawn curry. You know that too so why then say I gave false information I wonder. But again that is "debatable" as you say. But I agree to your one statement that the rawa fry fish and the two prawns was indeed good in quantity. The change in the fish from mackerel to chonak (I think) was prior informed by your head waiter, so that is not an issue.

And as to the prawn curry, of course there was only one prawn in it. Do you expect me to say there was more when you know it is false. And the explanation of your thali in the menu card mentions rawa fry, so that is a different part of the thali altogether. Why are you trying to club both together to prove your point I wonder?

Next you mention a paan ice cream given to us as a complimentary dish right. But again, the contents of the thali mentioned in your menu card clearly mentioned a dessert. And since we received only one sweet dish (per person), I wonder which was the complimentary dessert then??

Issue of the elevated bill is not questioned by you at all.

So it is apparent that I have not made any false statements in the first review and I request that you please don't divert the topic by quoting how IRRESPONSIBLE or INACCURATE my review is because you know as well as me that I have not written anything FALSE.

Finally, as to the lateness of serving, your explanation is justified. Starting a new dish as varied as a thali will take some time to streamline the process. Hence the time frame issue is kind of acceptable now that you have explained it.

So I request that you please don't take the "angry owner" approach to the review. If the review has hurt your feelings, I will gladly delete my reviews rather than hurt anyone and cause animosity. After all, we are Goans right :)...

A totally hyped up restaurant. Not worth your time and money at all. My review is as so :

Ambience -- 4/5

Variety of menu -- 4/5

Service -- 1/5 -- We ordered the fish thali and had to wait 37 minutes (not 35, not 40 but 37 minutes) to get the food. Waiters were not very professional.

Quality of food -- 3/5. Not any special tastes. But good though.

Quantity of food -- 1/5 -- As common with hyped restaurants, the quantity of food was not even enough for a 10 yr old girl. The prawn curry was only curry with one tiny prawn in it. One tiny prawn...(added the picture)... This is a perfect example of max money making scheme.

Billing -- 1/5 -- High price with low food qualities. And in the end they billed higher than the menu card rate. Each thali was Rs. 250 and they billed it as Rs. 280. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he then gave the correct bill.

We actually wanted to goto Martin's Corner but as we were getting late we decided to go to their Margao outlet. Martin's always delivers when it comes to o quality food and there was no disappointment this time around too. For starters we had chicken BBQ and squids batter fry which were cooked to perfection. Squids were fried with crispy batter which was lip smacking. For the main course we had a stroganoff, two types of steaks and one sizzler. The stroganoff was creamy,juicy and the meat was very tender. The steaks were amazing as well especially the rum glazed steak.
