The Treat Hotel — Hotel in Goa

We had a very bad experience here... We had booked our hotel... But the plan got cancel due to some emergency... We tried to cancel the booking through their websites as the booking was done through their official website... There was no option given... To check if we get the refund we read on their booking paper that you can get 75% refund if cancellations done before the booking date .. we sent an email to them as their phone was not reachable.... On giving a negative review on Google about their transaction the manager in Goa called us and said we will give 50% refund on which we agreed. And forced us to remove the feedback given which we also did... On continuous feedback done from our side the manager said we will pay as the money is coming from Delhi.. which we couldn't connect logically.. yesterday the manager called and said the regional officer has gone out of town so it will take time whereas the owner has responded that it's the peak season... The manager only calls us if we put a review on the Google and the owner reads it .. this is what the manager told us... Otherwise no matter how much you try their call is unavailable... Having a good repo with customers and having a follow up with them helps us to build trust... It's been more than a week we haven't received the money.. apart from that no follow up done... Manager has his own views and the owner has its own problems.. Highly not...

I have booked this hotel through Agoda. Photos which are in website and real status have drastic difference. Room which was provided was a mess, unhygienic, stinking,washroom was bad, mirror was useless,walls with cobweb, furnitures were in pathetic condition. When asked the service staff he clearly mentioned that we need to select between these two rooms( they both were equally disgusting). I have completely made up my mind to leave the hotel but when highlighted then they have provided the room which was decent. The big question here is? Why the rooms were so filthy? How come the support staff were so rude? Why there were wrong pictures updated on website? What is this logic that this hotel is opened as a trial basis another hotel is getting worked upon. Any excuses were given,that makes no sense at all. - Why there's no maintenance? This clearly shows that they are least bothered about the guests. It was a pathetic experience. I would not recommend this stay as we had a very bad experience. We had called and investigated on room availability if we could check in early morning 3 am and leave the same day 9pm as we had a train to go back to bangalore and the reception guy told we can checkin anytime and rooms will be available and also no extra charges and accordingly we made a booking for deluxe king room. Next day we reached the hotel around 3.30 am and informed the receptionist and showed all our booking details. The receptionist was talking very unprofessionally and told us all deluxe king rooms are full and would give us a normal room that too with 1k extra charge for early checkin. We asked for refund of deluxe king room as we would search for some other stay. He was not ready to refund our money as well. Please guys do not go to this hotel as it's a very big scam. And please do not pay in advance as they will take advantage and not provide refund as well incase you wish to...
