Erivum puliyum എരിവും പുളിയും — Restaurant in Kerala

I had been a regular customer in Erivum Pulliyum few years back in the Banerji Road branch, where my regular order was Poratta and the beef roast. But when I searched the same; the store was closed temporarily.

So, I visited their Kaloor branch. Literally there was no one in the hotel. The ambience and the seating of the hotel is good. The interiors is different when compared to the Banerji Road, which had a bamboo style set up; but this branch has got paintings related to the Malayalam film industry which is very nice.

They do not have a car parking facility but have sufficient space for two wheeler parking. Their menu is very much limited as of now and there pricing is not very high, but it is reasonable when compared with the restaurants in this area. They do have Google pay facility.

I was happy with the attitude of the staffs but unfortunately, I was pretty much sad since I had an expectation which made me come back to this hotel.

I had ordered 2 beef roast as a take away order; and the curry did not meet up my expectations and I was really disappointed.

The meat was not properly cooked and moreover the chewy meat of the beef was served more but the gravy was good. The time taken to deliver my order was very fast but their packing was not up to the mark. When I reached home the oil was leaking from the food pack.

I have not ordered any other dishes from this branch but I will suggest not to go for...

The food is yummy and the ambience was really awesome. Unfortunately service is poor. The waiters seemed to have doubts on the availability of food items.

The ambience is really good. The walls are decorated with the painted pictures of Malayalam and Hindi actors, actress and directors. The pictures are from few of the best films in Malayalam. There are even a few quotes on the wall.

Located just behind the kaloor metro station. It's s bit difficult to see the hotel's location while traveling. Parking space is available next to the road.

Food was worth the price they charge but the service quality has to be...

Nice ambience and calm place. Food quality and tast are good, but the rate is little high comparing to other restaurants.

The beef roast and porotta I tried is awesome, beef roast was superb .

Parking space is little congested & the restaurant is next behind of Kapoor metro station.

You will get some different delicious foods like - Kothari kanji, kizhi biriyani, kizhi porotta, kappa biriyani,...
