Navya Bake Shop, Kaloor — Restaurant in Kerala

Anyone who is reading this, please don't get me wrong. This rating is given specifically against the kind of service they render. Because, i guess they deserve one dedicated review with regards to the way they manage the shop. And here is my review..it basically suxz. I have been to this place 5-6 times on the last month alone, and i have notice around 6+ staffs working in the serving area for a type of snack center as small as this one. But what is the point evenaftee having these many staffs doing the si called customer service, no customer was getting attended in the 1st 5 mins? All the time i have been invisible to those loafers there who does keep an account of the tables and the customers. The order takes only reasonable time to get delivered to the table, however, if you want to change/repeat the order, most of the times you have to struggle to catch their attention. They have neither proactively enquired about any extra orders nor presented the bills during most of my visit. (There were only a couple exclusions). In general, by seeing the way it is managed, they are a disgrace to the brand. Pros: If you are there for picking up and packing a few items, no worries. Service is fast. But if you go there to have some snacks, i would not recommend. If you are a veg, avoid this place they have only very limited items there. They have reasonably giod varietied in...

The food at Navya is tasty and fresh making them a cut above the rest. Though on the pricier side, it is worth trying and enjoying.

Ambience at the Kaloor outlet is good, with a clean and attractive layout. Their cafe menu with the continental options in addition to the naadan Kerala snacks make it the ideal place for a lazy brunch. Parking is also easy.

As it is a popular joint, there is occasion for crowding at the store. I hope the staff there can organize that better to maintain safe distancing standards during the pandemic. Since the home delivery option is available, I hope customers can use that more during the pandemic, so that the bakery can continue supplying uncontaminated food to all its loyal patrons.

I am a regular customer at Navya Kaloor and appreciate their high-quality, predominantly house-made bakery items. I enjoy the taste and quality of their products, but I have noticed a few areas needing improvement.

Firstly, the staff seems inadequately trained. While this may be less critical in Kerala, a comparison with Best Bakers highlights a difference; their staff consistently demonstrate politeness and professionalism.

Secondly, the presence of houseflies is a concern. Although it is challenging to eliminate them entirely in Kochi, a well-managed establishment should be able to control the issue effectively.
