Last Sunday, while I was on my way, I saw this beauuuutiful and inviting Nykaa Luxe Outlet on Linking Rd, Khar. And I obviously stoppee over to just have a look. 🙈 Or so I thought! But when I went there Rahima greeted me with a radiant genuine smile and energy. She helped me all along.. and I can tell you I am not someone who needs any help in a makeup shop.. not in Nykaa for sure.. but Rahima was so gentle, informative and non-interfering. She wasn't bothering me at all. In fact she kept helping me with so many different things when asked. 100marks for this quality. Just what we all need. 💕 Not just Rahima, Lubna, Sejal, Salman, Soham. All rockstars.. they sure love their jobs. And why not they are literally inside a luxe Barbie Make-up mansion.. hahahah.. They even have a pink elevator.. !! Even the girl at the register was super sweet. I tried a million different things.. and ended up buying my favourite Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear and another favourite of mine Sol de Janeiro Fragrance. I checked out loads of skin care and was itching to buy .. but my brain reminded me to 1st finish the heaps of skincare I already had.😆🙈 I am so so happy Salman gave me a some sample to try out. Read moreI visited the Nykaa store today to purchase a Sol de Janeiro gift box for a teenager. I asked the sales associate to show me the available gift box options, and she presented a few, from which I selected one and completed the purchase. As I was leaving, I noticed another Sol de Janeiro gift box that hadn’t been shown to me. This box appeared more appealing, contained additional products, and was priced higher.
I asked the sales associate if I could exchange the purchased gift box for the one I had just seen, explaining that I had specifically requested all available options. She promptly declined without providing a reason. Given that I had just completed the transaction and the store was not busy, with only two customers and numerous staff present, I was surprised by the response. I requested to speak with the store manager. Initially, another staff member who was not the manager approached me, but after clarification, the store manager arrived. I explained the situation, and the manager promptly apologized and facilitated the exchange within minutes.
While the issue was resolved by the manager, the initial response from the sales associate could have been more accommodating, specially since it was her miss of not showing me the entire range. The attitude of the sales staff was notably poor, and they would benefit from additional training on how to handle customer inquiries and requests...
Read moreLet me start with - my team tried for whole afternoon call EVERY STORE of yours in Mumbai and ONE picked up the phone. Then, desperate for the palette that we were searching for, we came to this store - with the staff with meh kind of welcoming and not " ready to help" attitude. So, next thing we were informed that the palette (expensive brand, not naming here because i don't want it to be a publicity for them) is not there, but the tester palette was actually in display, so basically even if the customer would like the product - no chance to buy it (we're talking about above 5k price). Staff was totally unprepared for at least giving the information about presence of the other options (I think this one is very unprofessional, because it gives a feeling that staff does not know anything more than just be there as a presences not actually know the store and cosmetics) ex - if the palette xyz is not there - this or that might be a good substitute etc - nah, just amatour style of answers- ye maybe we will get this or that products... Reality is - if you're professional make up artist, seller, shop owner - you would really take care of people coming and wanting to spend thousands,.
