The staff is extremely arrogant and disrespectful. They started a row with us cause we decided to split the bill among 3 of us and decided to pay using different credit cards. They had the audacity to tell us that for a bill of Rs 1,700 only, use only one card in the most arrogant and disrespectful manner. This was followed by a few Hindi tapori slangs by the "suited and booted" managers of the so called "fine dining" restaurant.
At the end of the day, the customer always has the option of using any mode of accepted payment methods by the restaurant, whether it is split into 3 or 10.
They even denied that their credit card machine did not have the tap and pay option whereas eventually, we ended up tapping and paying anyway.
Not doing a favour by feeding us at your restaurant. Thank you very much. Never coming back here. Don't suggest the place to any of the people reading the reviews. And if by chance we do end up coming again, kindly be courteous enough to apologize being a "fine dining service...
Read moreIn one sentence; rude staff, great food, not the most hygienic overall. Ambience is OK but the place is quite run down.
The best part about this place is that it’s open till very late (I think 2/3am) and the food is delicious. I highly recommend the chicken biryani, butter chicken, paneer chilly and sizzling brownie.
However, the staff is quite unprofessional and rude. They push to serve you even when you’re saying no.
We had gone at closing time and it was very evident they just wanted us out as fast as possible. This would have been OK if they informed us of their last order time, but we were given zero intimation. They messed up our order and when asked to correct it acted like they were doing us a favour.
I have been to Sheetal many times, but after my last experience I think I will only go here as a last resort. If you can, I’d recommend getting takeaway as opposed...
Read moreTasteless food. Very high priced. Won't recommend at all!
We'd ordered boneless Murg Mussallam and Garlic Naan. The boneless chicken was just shredded into pieces so one didn't even know whether they were eating chicken or just the gravy. The gravy itself was tasteless - no salt or spices; just food colour! The garlic naans were loaded with garlic and was so pungent that we couldn't eat it. For such a high priced restaurant which shows such great reviews, it was a very poor experience. We had ordered on the occasion of Mother's Day but were completely disappointed!
Since we had made a direct order and not via Zomato or Swiggy, the management/ the person on the phone appeared to be very high headed but ironically, their food was sub-standard.
There may be much much better restaurants than Sheetal Bukhara...won't recommend spending your hard earned buck...
