I visited Shree Ghanteshwar Hanuman Temple in Khar West, and it was a truly peaceful and spiritual experience. The temple has a very unique charm, especially with hundreds of brass bells hanging all aroundāeach one representing a fulfilled wish. Itās not just visually striking but also a powerful reminder of the faith so many devotees place in Lord Hanuman.
The temple was quite crowded since I went on a Saturday, but the atmosphere was filled with devotion and energy. Despite the rush, everything was well-organized, and the queue moved smoothly. I appreciated how the staff helped maintain order while still allowing everyone time for darshan.
What stood out to me was the sense of calm that surrounded the place. Even in the middle of busy Mumbai, the temple offers a rare moment of peace and reflection. I offered a garland and mustard oil, which are easily available inside the temple gates.
Itās about a 10-minute walk from Khar station, making it convenient to reach. Parking can be tricky during peak hours, so Iād recommend using public transport if possible.
Whether you're a devotee or just looking for a moment of peace, Iād highly recommend visiting Shree Ghanteshwar Hanuman Temple. It's a beautiful blend of devotion, tradition,...
