Went with my wife for a walk in there. We entered from the main gate from Vasant Kunj side. Didn’t find anyone else except the guards manning the gates inside and outside. And yes there are no tickets. It’s an open for all public park.
Really calm & serene. Plenty of nature flora and fauna to witness. And the natural sounds which you might have forgotten! Saw a family of nilgai, a fox, so many peacocks and mainas, squirrels a plenty etc. Walked all the way to the other side exiting on the ONGC side.
Mostly it is really clean but closer to the edges on the residential side at the north end it gets smelly and dirty. I wish the party people also cared about taking the waste back and dumped it responsibly. Somehow the lot seems to forget that their mothers are not going to come cleaning up afterwards! I wish...
