Kylin Experience — Restaurant in New Delhi

It has an option of Indoor as well as our door seating.

On a well day it seems to be a quiet and peaceful place to be. We chose to sit indoors.

The bar tenders and the Chef working close to the Wok do a good job showing their juggling skills, and won't mind some appreciation too.

That said, and coming to the food- We ordered - Grilled chicken Fingers King Prawns Chicken Salad Kung Pao Chicken Hakka Chicken Noodles Fresh Lime Soda and Virgin Mojito's to drink.

This place serves spicy food and the waiter told us about it before the placing the order itself, so we told them to go easy on spices, which they did and we appreciate that.

The Grilled Chicken Fingers were fairly good. A tad too salty though.

The Chicken Salad came in next, and that was just the way we liked it, full of Chicken and colourful bell peppers and onions. Probably the best of all items ordered here.

The noodles were good too and the quantity too was just right.

The Kung Pao Chicken was okay, maybe a little less thicker could have been better but it was not bad. It was ok. The Prawns, I didn't feel were up to the mark. This is something I was disappointed with. Also I understand that Prawns are expensive otherwise too, but the quantity was really below par.

The fresh lime tasted nice. Overall I think it was a nice experience, and it's a good place for people who love to chor chat too while enjoying their food since the music is low and soft. People can easily talk and stay chilled.

Also it's important to point out, a bottle of Mineral Water costed ₹95 which I believe is exorbitant.

Go for an authentic PAN Asian Cuisine and a warm experience. This place has been there for quite some time. And one visit to the place tells you the reason behind its popularity. A welcoming, warm ambience with oriental elements dotting the decor, awaits you at Kylin. From the well-lit seating arrangement, next to the window, overlooking the cityscape to the cosy arrangements at the other end, Kylin offers you multiple options to make you feel comfortable. I opted to sit at the sky bar. After all, that place seemed quite favourable for some good clicking. Without wasting much time, I decided on my order - Prawn Tempura Roll Sushi along with a refreshing mocktail. My eyes as impressed with the presentation as were my taste buds with the preparation. It presented me with a picture, i haven't seen before. Made for quite a few good clicks. Talking about the staff, what impressed me the most, was their knowledge of the menu. They seem to be pretty well versed with the menu and were able to explain the dishes, in a fairly decent manner. Prompt, polite and service with a smile, made the service a pretty memorable one. So, if you prefer your oriental cuisine a bit different from the ones, usually served at most of the places, you might like Kylin. It surely elevates the overall dining experience....
