Thanks Home for Turning our weekend into a night of celebration! We can be HOME - All Day, All Night. It's a cozy dimlit beautifully designed dining space offering Modern- Indian, European and Japanese cuisine. Located on the 3rd floor at Ambience mall, Vasant Kunj. Formerly open only for PVR members but now welcoming all. Yes, that's the good part! Apart from the indoor space, they also have a beautiful rooftop to spend a cosy winter evening.
Me and my husband were here for a date night and we truly had an experience to remember with- • The wonderfully crafted cocktails and the unique amalgamations from the sensational drinks menu by Head mixologist Santanu Chanda and Barkeeper Sushil Pant. Do try the cocktail Sixth Sense. Bet you won't get enough of their signature cocktails. Also, Caught a glimpse of their upcoming menu - Fermentation and The Solar System and I can't wait to be back at the bar.
• The curated delights by Chef Harpal and Chef Saito from the rich menu imbibing fresh flavors, vibrant colors through a clever play of ingredients & different textures to engage our palate. Some must try delicacies are the Potato and Jackfruit Katsu Bao slider, Truffled chicken terrine, Chicken wings, Portobello Xacuti, Apricot paneer pasanda taftan and Chicken makhni with Asiago kulcha. Each and every dish was incredibly presented and tasted out of the world. For desserts we indulged in the decadent combination of hazelnut, dates and dark chocolate and the apple bebinca made with coconut and Almond milk gelato.
• The stand up comedy by Sonali Thakker had us with big laughs adding to our wholesome experience.
Also, the hospitality was top notch with the staff being on their toes to serve all their guests. The vibes were lit with Christmas decor in the air.
Strongly recommend you all to visit this finest drinking and dining space, Home. Do prepare yourself for an incredible experience as they have an exciting set of events lined up for you all. This festive season Home Delhi is the...
Read moreI recently dined at the Home, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance.
The restaurant's interior design is tastefully done, with a perfect blend of modern elegance and rustic charm. The comfortable seating arrangements and the live music created a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a dining experience or a gathering with friends and family.
Now, let's talk about the food!
The menu is diverse, offering a wide range of dishes to cater to every palate. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or seeking international flavors, this place has something for everyone.
I highly recommend starting with their delectable appetizers. The main course options were impressive, with each dish expertly prepared and beautifully presented.
The only thing I couldn't figure out was excess of peanuts in all the three dishes we had ordered. Not sure if that's their style, but while it brought texture to the food it definitely made the dimsums and frettelini taste dry.
What truly sets this restaurant apart is the impeccable service provided by the staff. The waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist with any queries or special requests. They took great care to ensure that every aspect of our dining experience was memorable.
In conclusion, the Home Restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it receives. With its inviting ambiance, exquisite culinary creations, and exceptional service, it offers a complete dining experience that will leave you longing for more. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to New Delhi, this restaurant is a must-visit destination for...
Read moreDidn't know it was part of PVR. We decided for it because it popped out when we were searching for a restaurant with live music. We had to look for a bit to reach there as it is not "visible" in the FnB floor of Ambience. The door had a sign of '55' or at least the doorway that we went in through. But the moment we entered the ambience hits you like a 9 ton truck. (As the expectations were minimal with a name like Home) The servers were great. Sweet, polite and helpful. It has a stage for performers, the sofas and lounge chairs wete sheer opulence , which was in addition to the regular dining chairs. The theme was 1930s , the sunday brunch live music was Jazz and my choice of Cocktail was Peaky Blinder- a whiskey base. My sister went for Nostalgia. Mumma went for English breakfast tea and she was in Queen Vic zone what with -All that Jazz . Yup that was there too. Food was good but expensive and the names hard to remember. (Well I was never good with names). The kid went for something that had the words Heart and Hues. I liked Nostalgia . I am a Nostalgia person. Not that it will work with you. Yeah choose your own poison. Well so I can go on and on about it. But I am sure you get the drift. I had a good time. And I plan to go back again, although my...
