The worst movie experience...ever!
Absolutely unacceptable for the price you pay.
Went with family to see the movie. Ordered food and beverage worth 5k before the movie started and asked for it to be delivered on seat inside. The movie started and no food for 30 minutes. Chased up a staff member who said will check and then finally a pizza appeared. No sign of the other 2 main dishes.
Then 40 mins into the movie a portion of tacos appeared and I expalined that I didn't order them. The staff member checked my receipt and saw I had ordered Chicken Fajitas and went away. Came back and claimed thay it was the correct order and this was their 'Chicken Taco Fajita' and left. I then had to leave the movie find a supervisor/manager outside and explain everything. She came inside and took it away. She then came back and repeated the same thing. I turned on the light and showed he on the menu that what she was giving me was corn shell tacos as shown in their own picture on menu. Then had to explain what Fajitas were supposed to be...I said to her if they don't know then I can just get some alternative. The manager went away and then came back to tell me that kitchen now knew what to make and will be 10 minutes.
Intermission happened and still no food so during Intermission I spoke to the same staff in lobby and made a point that that it was now intermission and I had still not received food I ordered before movie started. Spoke to another male manager who was apologetic however doesnt help when u have a hungry family and have to abandon the movie twice and spend time arguing/complaining.
After the intermission food came but still not fajitas. And how the hell is one supposed to eat salad without cutlery or fork??? I don't actually thing anyone their knew the difference between tacos, fajitas and quesadilla. Although menu is extensive but staff including managers have no idea what is what.
I missed the movie including critical scenes going back and forth chasing food etc.
A terrible movie experience, we didn't enjoy it at all. And a lot better is expected when you advertise a premium experience and higher prices. I spent over 10k for 2 hours and walked out annoyed, frustrated and appalled.

Prepare yourself for one of the most shocking displays of operational incompetence and customer contempt in Delhi's hospitality industry. PVR Director's Cut charges astronomical premium rates supposedly justified by their "luxury amenities" and "full-service dining experience."
THE REALITY: Arrived for a 9:30am show - standard business hours for any professional establishment. Requested coffee, a basic beverage that any cinema should provide. Staff response? "The coffee machine will take an hour to start up."
Let that sink in. A PREMIUM CINEMA charging much higher prices than regular theaters cannot provide COFFEE during regular operating hours because their equipment isn't operational. This isn't just poor service - this is operational fraud.
How exactly does PVR justify charging significantly higher prices when they cannot deliver the most basic advertised amenities? This represents a fundamental breach of consumer contract. You're paying for services that literally don't exist at the time of your visit.
This level of mismanagement suggests either gross negligence or deliberate consumer deception. Either scenario warrants serious legal scrutiny. No legitimate business should collect premium payments while failing to maintain basic operational readiness.
The contempt for customer experience is breathtaking. Management operates as if higher pricing automatically excuses operational failures. This backward logic reveals a company that has completely lost sight of basic service standards and consumer rights.
Fellow consumers: Document these experiences. This pattern of collecting premium payments while failing to deliver advertised services may constitute grounds for consumer protection violations. PVR's systematic operational failures while charging luxury prices demands...
Read moreNote that because the manager I spoke to after the film was nice, this is a 3-star review and not a 1-star.
The theater is very nice, however I do not recommend it! Because people are ordering food in the middle of the film, there are constantly people walking in and out of the theater. Worse, the people who are ordering are frequently turning on their bright phone flashlights to look at the menu. When people’s phones continuously go off during the movie, the staff do not reprimand those customers. Overall, I would have had a more peaceful and immersive watching experience from my own couch, on my own tv. It’s a lot of luxurious looking seats but a deeply mediocre theater experience.
Now the reason this was going to be a 1-star review originally is that instead of asking if I wanted to pay immediately, approaching me during intermission, or waiting for the end of the film, staff approached me DURING THE CLIMAX OF THE FILM to ask for payment. Needless to say, that’s a ridiculous way to do things. When I spoke to the manager, he was very kind and said that most customers prefer to pay at their seats and offered to cover my concessions bill. That is very considerate and given that the theater has generally good reviews, either my experience was unusual or the manager is right that other people are ok with being interrupted during the film to pay.
So, even though I will not go back, I guess maybe other people won’t...
