I finally visited this outlet of the chain after it being in my visit list for quite sometime. I would have done that earlier itself this year but thanks to Corona it got extended by almost an year!!

I called up to make reservations for my birthday dinner which was smooth and I was handled politely without any rush over call. Then at night we visited the place. It's located on the floor as the food court but not exactly besides. It's in the corner of left side from the escalator but chances are that you aren't going to miss seeing it as it occupies lot of space plus the decorations outside and the big name billboard.

We went there where our reservation for buffet was confirmed and our table and seats were sanitized and cleaned for which we had to wait 5 minutes around. No worries as it's for our safety. The ambience was wonderful considering we went around Christmas. There was 2 Santa's put up, kne outside and one inside plus the reindeers and small Christmas tree and the fairy lights. It all added to the ambience. I don't remember any music being played or if was then it was very light. But no complaints on that.

The place is quite big from inside which struck us the moment we went in. We sat down our table and the (food) show started finally!! We were given separate sanitized cutlery sets and I really appreciate that. The staff was wearing masks without any exception. The two barbecue sets were put up on our table and one after another appetizers or starters started to come in. We had #Seekh, #Paneer tikka, #Prawn, #Chesse corn, #Fried fish, #Golgappe, #Dimsum. But the best amongst those was Italian based slow cooked big chicken piece, which was really juice and tender.#Dimsum was also superb. I loved all the starters. The enthusiasm in the staff was nice to see. I felt really warm and welcome. They were very swift in bringing the appetizers on sticks for barbeque and taking away the old eaten ones. One complaint here would be that there was no mutton item and when we asked for #Mutton seekh kebabs then we had to wait for quite sometime. The starters are much better than Barbeque nation.

The salad varieties were a lot and they were delicious.

Coming on the the main course, I simply expected more. The menu was limited from non veg person's perspective. Veg items were plenty although there was just one paneer dish, that too was almost over and I observed that it was refilled quite late. Non veg dishes were tasty from Chicken perspective but just one mutton dish disheartened us. There were just 4 mutton pieces in that dish and they were almost cold!! We requested them for some warm mutton curry with warm pieces and proceeded with other main course. We had to wait for very long time and then the a mutton bowl was brought to our table. The curry was warm but the pieces seemed now warm from inside and just added to warm curry. One person in our group is passionate for mutton only in non veg and wasn't satisfied with the scenario. No complaints about the servers as they were trying their best to please us but the kitchen staff really disappointed us in all this. We then requested for some #sarso saag and #Makke rotis which was instantly obliged and it was delicious.

Finally the dessert section; it looked very tempting. The varieties offered were good but they could have done better and few more I believe. Also I wasn't satisfied. #Gulabjamuns were little rubbery rather than gooey. #Brownies were little stiff. #Phirni was decent. I tried it all but most of them were passable. Ice cream flavours of #Vanilla and #Strawberry were there and both tasted premium. The best dessert for me was the #Birthday cake they brought for me.

We requested for some lukewarm water in the end we were provided that almost instantly.

So coming to end to summarise, that the price point of 850 per head(#Veg/#Non veg) for weekdays dinner was on par with the contemporaries and competition. Weekend prices are little bit more and that's justifiable. The service was top notch and the servers are amongst the best I have seen. 3.5 rating...

One of buffets that was on my visit list but the pandemic hit us and I along with my family didn't think of going before any vaccine or number of cases start decreasing in Delhi.

So lately we visited the place for having birthday dinner in December. Coming to sanitation and hygiene they're maintaining well.

And coming to concept of buffets so yes you can go and take you maincourse meal by your own after wearing plastic gloves kept aside by the dishes. As few buffets till date serving the maincourse on the table.

Talking on food, we'd chosen both veg and non-veg menus. Starters they served nicely and in ample varieties except the mutton-item. They had kind of just one seekh-mutton kabab in the starters. I feel there could have been more variations in mutton.

In main course again they hadn't more than one mutton dish. Paneer item in main course wasn't satisfying because it was just I'd say normal paneer nothing special not kind of delicious. So overall not much variries available in veg and non-veg maincourses either. Their salad section had one good item named " chicken pineapple salad" which was really yummy and rest were popular salad items.

So one last Desert section...from which I had all my hopes again disappointed us. They didn't have fresh Gulabjamun or maybe it tasted me different and some pastry that was half cooked!! Yes that felt some not properly baked. So what I say more. The the experience was good enough but not excellent. Hopefully it's better next time when we go.

One good point was that the staffs were really welcoming and quick in service during our starters and even later on main course we were all so disappointed from mutton dish to paneer. Chicken dishes were good although.

The decor was more of Christmas theme nowdays and nothing much relatable to Pirates. So impressive but only from Christmas...

Don't visit this out let during covid times . Or ready to recieve worst customer service . No social distance they just act as they are following all rules U can only call them.and book no other way to get prior registration . Let me share my experience I called them on Saturday they told sir it's already full visit outlet then we can book I visited them 8:30 they told us sir u can come at 9:30 after waiting 2 hr finally 10:15 we got entry there First impression they told us that they are following social distance norms seating location they provided us to was worst, very dirty near to garbage, all dirty plates were kept there. In middle there was ac problem and then they even didn't bothered to ask for food guys seriously better u keep food as buffet as they was not able to serve the food. Finally after having no sweet dish , only starter I left and thanked manager to providing worst possible service to me and destroying my birthday party.

Guys you can spend 3k having nice dinner in any a la carte restaurant rather then tolerating misbehaviour and annoying staff of pirates of grill , Ambience mall. Even one of the waiter was not interested to serve that he told lie sir sweet dishe was not available . Guys please don't destroy anyone person important moment just for the sake of profitablity rather directly ask him to visit other restaurant if you can't handle crowd. And also thank u pirates of grill loosing your permanent customer there are many...

Visited this place today with friends. The beginning was quite bumpy. We had made reservations for 10 people but the seats offered to us did no justice to our requirement. We requested the staff to join a couple of tables but one of the staff was simply rude to us. After finally settling down, we started with the grilled starters. From here on I will be writing on my experience as a vegetarian who is slowly trying to adopt veganism. The veg starters had soya chaap, mushrooms, paneer tikka, fried corn, roasted pineapple, kebab, momos and Mayo laden potatoes. I really enjoyed the soya chap and mushrooms. Found the fried corn to be really spicy. The kebab tasted really off. The Mayo potatoes lacked texture and tasted just Mayo. For the maincourse, I had roti, paneer gravy and chilli garlic noodles. The main course was quite nice. I am not sure if dishes like chole, dal, etc were made in ghee or not. There were 3-4 things that I felt were vegan friendly in the main course. Next were the desserts. Unfortunately, none of the desserts were vegan friendly. As i have not turned fully vegan till now, i did try a few desserts. Just managed to enjoy a cake slice with coconut and blueberry compote. All in all, it was a decent experience as a vegetarian but surely not a great place for vegans.
