The place instantly hits you with its vibrant desi vibes – rustic interiors, matka and steel plate serving style, and energetic🎶 🎉🎶Punjabi tracks playing in the background. Feels like a modern-day highway dhaba 🚛🚘 dropped into the heart of Delhi. 2️⃣ This vibrant place in the heart of Connaught Place and was instantly impressed by its colourful 👌 ✨️ interiors and quirky desi décor. The vibe is fun, lively, and perfect for a chill evening out, Dhaba CP delivers a perfect blend of taste, presentation🖼, and desi vibes🪁. Will definitely return for more! 3️⃣ At Dhaba in Connaught Place, you'll find tasty food 😋 and a nice atmosphere . If you're looking for a place to enjoy good food and a pleasant ambience, Dhaba is worth considering. 4️⃣ I loved Dal Dhaba. It was creamy, the spices were great, and the texture was on point 🥘! Breads 🫓 were excellent as well, flaky and properly done. The Paneer Lababdar was good too, but not my favourite. I would have loved more flavour in that dish. They also serve green chutney, sirka onions, and fryums complimentary with your order ! The food was good, definitely you should go for the Dal Dhaba . The ambience is very punjabi core 🚜🚛and big graffitis is on the wall. They have an elaborate bar as well. Enjoyable bollywood songs keep running in the background, so it's a fun place. The service I feel could be a tad faster, though I'm not complaining as I went during peak dinner hours. But it can definitely be improved. The prices are moderate as like most of the places. What better than Dhaba for a real North Indian style treat! We recently visited their outlet in Connaught Place and the decor and ambience is so lively and colorful that it just lights up your mood and heart. I got a personalized welcome with my table mentioning 'Ms Arora', it was such a sweet gesture. The interiors gave a lovely dhaba feel with truck pictures and other props around. We tried an array of dishes from starters, main course and desserts. Difficult to choose what to try in starters we ordered before Veg and Non Veg Platter which had a yummy assortment. We enjoyed everything from Achaari Soya Chaap, Veg Galouti, Lal Mirch ka Paneer Tikka, Dhaba da Paneer Tikka, Palak Paneer ki Seekh, Galouti Kebab, Mutton Seekh, Murgh Malai Tikka, Highway Chicken Tikka and Amritsari Machhi. Loved everything! For Mocktails we tried Anarkali, Shikanji, Aam Panna, Banta Cola. No one can beat the taste of Anarkali. That's my recommendation for sure! Coming to the main course, our choice was Murgh Makhni, Aloo Gobhi, Dal Dhaba, Jeera Rice and Tiffin Paneer. My recommendation would be Tiffin Paneer which won my heart with its taste and flavour. Roomali, Tandoori & Naan along with Boondi and Mix Veg Raita made our dinner even more yummy. For desserts it was Phirni, Matka Kulfi and Ras Malai which we relished and can't forget the yummy paan which were presented so tastefully and was just amazing. Be it kids and the old and the young it's a place for all to come and enjoy eating and relishing the yum food made and served with lots of love. Not for one minute the energy dies down in this place as it is so so lovely and a cheerful place to eat and when you go out your heart is fully satisfied with the ambience, hospitality and service and most important the smile on everybody's faces which brings another joy and adds to the magic of this place situated in the heart of CP. Come here for a taste of Punjab with laughter, bursts and foodies who come together for the love of food and for the love for best things and taste in life the king size way.

If you're seeking a taste of Punjab in the heart of Delhi's bustling Connaught Place, look no further than DHABA restaurant. This establishment boasts a unique ambiance that transports diners to the rustic charm of a roadside eatery, with three distinct sections each exuding its own theme, creating an eclectic yet inviting atmosphere. Now, let's delve into the dining experience. While the weekend crowd may test your patience with a wait for seating and slow service, a weekday visit promises a more relaxed ambiance and quicker service. Despite occasional delays, the food ultimately delivers on flavor, with generous portions ensuring your appetite is more than satisfied. Non-vegetarian curries and freshly baked breads stand out as highlights, meeting the mark of authenticity and taste. The menu features Punjabi classics alongside modern twists, with dishes like dal makhani shining as stars of the show. However, while the food is undeniably enjoyable, it may not leave a lasting impression as an exceptional culinary experience. Yet, the ambiance, presentation, and courteous staff elevate the overall dining experience, making it a worthwhile visit, if not a frequent haunt. Moreover, for those looking to unwind with a drink, DHABA offers a selection of alcoholic beverages, adding to the conviviality of the setting. Plus, with the added incentive of Paytm offers on food bills, indulging in a Punjabi feast becomes even more enticing. In conclusion, DHABA at Connaught Place is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. While it may not boast a standout specialty dish, its charming ambiance, hearty portions, and hospitable service make it a destination worth exploring at least once. So, whether you're craving a taste of home or simply seeking a culinary adventure, DHABA promises a journey through Punjab's flavors amidst the bustling streets of Delhi. It was a beautiful evening that was hosted by P2M at Dhaba at connaught place. Dhaba has always been in the limelight when it comes to Indian cuisine, and it stood up to it's expectations once again. Taking all the precautions necessary according to the new normal, the team did not disappoint even a bit. There was music, the ambience was soothing, and there was positivity all around. The food was beautifully served. • Paneer Tikka was soft and well cooked. Even though the spices were initially a bit off, when told, they were taken care of. • Aloo Chat was lovely. I wouldn't want it any other way. • Fish was amazing. I am not a big fan of fish, but I loved it there. • Galouti Kabab were beautifully prepared and were delicious. • Chicken malai tikka, as always, was very soft. While having the starters, the staff presented us with a dance, which cheered everybody up. It was enthusiastic and everybody loved it. The main course was the show. • Dal Makhani and rice and really good with apt spices. • Bharta was really presentable and it tasted as good. • Chicken Biryani was really impressive. • Butter chicken with roti was the best, indeed. Deserts were definitely the seasoning. • Badaam ka halwa was made in ghee and was lovely. • Phirni was delicious. • Kulfi ka toh koi mukabla hi nahi hai xD It was a much needed evening filled with astounding people and great atmosphere.

Dhaba Estd 1986 is located in Block B in Connaught Place, New Delhi. It's easily navigable via Google maps. I had ordered Paneer Lababdar and Dal Dhaba ( Dal Makhni ) and various types of breads like Mirchi parantha, Laccha Parantha, Tandoori Roti and Butter Naan. I loved the Dal Dhaba. It was creamy, the spices were great and the texture was on point ! Breads were excellent as well, flaky and properly done. The Paneer Lababdar was good too, but not my favourite. I would have loved more flavour in that dish. They also serve green chutney, sirka onions and fryums complimentary with your order ! The food was good, definitely you should go for the Dal Dhaba . Also you could experience waiting time around 30-45 minutes, till that time explore the blocks at Connaught place. Overall, it's a good dinner spot to enjoy with friends and family. Food is good, ambience is nice and you should definitely visit for the Dal Dhaba!

Every other review I read, talked about how good and courteous their restaurant staff is. Let's talk about their Food (the actual thing, everyone should leave a review about in zomato & google). I ordered 5-6 items ranking them worst to slightly worst. Butter Chicken Dal Makhni All Naan's they serve Chicken Tangdi Mushroom Kabab Some Garlic Saag (this was actually good) Everything was costly and low effort. Ps. I don't mind paying the price but it should justify the cost. The food they serve does not even justify half of its actual price. It felt like they have fired their chef and hired bunch of workers to keep cooking the same shity receipe. Dal Makhani did not taste like dal makhni, butter chicken was boiled,no flavour just dipped in gravy (if you are a non vegetarian you can easily point out whether the chicken is cooked separately or not). The Breads and mushroom kebab's just average. Everything was so bad that I liked their Garlic flavoured Saag. And unfortunately - the service was slow. This was the first and last time, I visited this establishment.
