The place instantly hits you with its vibrant desi vibes – rustic interiors, matka and steel plate serving style, and energetic🎶 🎉🎶Punjabi tracks playing in the background. Feels like a modern-day highway dhaba 🚛🚘 dropped into the heart of Delhi. 2️⃣ This vibrant place in the heart of Connaught Place and was instantly impressed by its colourful 👌 ✨️ interiors and quirky desi décor. The vibe is fun, lively, and perfect for a chill evening out, Dhaba CP delivers a perfect blend of taste, presentation🖼, and desi vibes🪁. Will definitely return for more! 3️⃣ At Dhaba in Connaught Place, you'll find tasty food 😋 and a nice atmosphere . They offer a buffet option, which is a good choice if you want to try different dishes. The staff is friendly and helpful, always there to assist you. Plus, the chef 👩🍳 knows what they're doing and prepares delicious food. The place has a good vibe 🎭 overall. If you're looking for a place to enjoy good food and a pleasant ambience, Dhaba is worth considering. 4️⃣ I loved Dal Dhaba. It was creamy, the spices were great, and the texture was on point 🥘! Breads 🫓 were excellent as well, flaky and properly done. The Paneer Lababdar was good too, but not my favourite. I would have loved more flavour in that dish. They also serve green chutney, sirka onions, and fryums complimentary with your order ! The food was good, definitely you should go for the Dal Dhaba .
The ambience is very punjabi core 🚜🚛and big graffitis is on the wall. They have an elaborate bar as well. Enjoyable bollywood songs keep running in the background, so it's a fun place.
The service I feel could be a tad faster, though I'm not complaining as I went during peak dinner hours. But it can definitely be improved. The prices are moderate as like most of the places. Also, you could experience waiting time around 20-35 minutes, so book beforehand.
Overall, it's a good dinner spot to enjoy with friends and family 👨👩👧👧. Food is good, ambience is nice and you should definitely visit for the Dhaba!

Read moreWe had quite an unpleasant experience at Dhaba CP. I went there with my husband and two adult children last week. I am suffering with oral lichen planus which means I can’t eat a single flake of chilies in my food and I knew that they might not serve me anything with zero chilies. But I still asked the person who came to take our order (and he looked quite a senior employee there) if it will be possible for me to get something without any chillies at all. I asked because just a few days ago in Vadodara at a famous Gujarati thali place they got 4 items with no chillies cooked for me in 5 mins flat, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. This person immediately and very readily said yes you will get dal tadka without any chillies and also butter paneer. I again asked if he was sure and he confirmed, I insisted again that it had to be without any chillies at all and he said yes madam it will be done easily. I happily ordered those things and my family ordered other stuff as they were not interested in these two items. When the food came after about half an hour wait, I tasted the dal and it was super spicy and burnt my mouth badly. When I complained he took it back to get another one. In the meantime I saw the butter paneer which clearly showed how much chillie powder was there in that dish. When asked, he again took that back in the kitchen and came back with the same plate saying very rudely “this can’t be less spicy! “ Then the second time dal tadka came and it looked without chilies but when eaten I again got my mouth burnt as it had green chilies. I complained but nothing was done so I ordered pineapple raita in which pineapple was smelling of the metal and I used just the sweet curd part to be able to have one roti with it. From the sabzi I took out a couple of paneer pieces, wiped them completely with tissue paper and ate them. At the end when we asked him to get the bill he very smilingly and courteously brought a small tray of pan saying please have dhaba special meetha pan. We took three completely assuming that it’s a complimentary offering which many places do because of the way it was offered. But when the bill came the pans were charged for rs 70 each! Generally when something like a pan etc is on payment basis you are asked if you would like to have it and not offered straightaway like this. And they had the audacity of charging for both the dal and paneer which was totally against their false promise! I have had good experience of dhaba in Mall of India but the cp one left very bad taste in my mouth where after all this there was not even a single word of apology extended by the...
Read moreDear Team,
I’m writing to share my recent disappointing experience at your CP Dhaba outlet in New Delhi. I visited the restaurant with my family and ordered two Hoegaarden beer pints, which were priced at ₹799. However, my sister-in-law didn’t enjoy the taste, so I politely requested Mr. Vipin Joshi to replace one of the bottles with a Corona. Unfortunately, he declined the request outright, citing package policies and rules.
While I understand that establishments have policies, I was surprised by the lack of flexibility and, more importantly, the dismissive attitude shown in front of my family. The manner in which the situation was handled left me feeling embarrassed, and it soured the overall experience for everyone at the table. What was supposed to be a pleasant evening turned into a disappointing one, even leading to discomfort and arguments on our way home.
I wasn’t asking for a complimentary item — I even offered to pay the full price of the Corona or keep the billing for the Hoegaarden. The way the request was handled lacked basic customer empathy and courtesy.
As a concerned citizen and customer, I also noted that we were charged 25% tax on the liquor bill, and I intend to have the invoices reviewed by the appropriate authorities, including Income Tax, GST, and Food Quality departments. I have friends in these sectors who can help initiate a fair review. Please understand that this is not a threat — it is simply a reflection of how seriously I take this matter after being treated so poorly.
I hope your management takes this feedback constructively and uses it as an opportunity to train staff on customer interaction and service flexibility. Every customer deserves to be heard and treated with respect, regardless of their status or background.
Pathetic custome service even when u am paying so much, came with my family and the manager Vipin Joshi was not helpful and unable to understand the customer needs. A big NO for everyone who comes to dine in either you go with their conditions or spoil your mood and your self respect, I spent more than 5000 and got respect not...
