Stayed here for two nights with my wife we’d 17/7/2025 to 19/7/2025 . Will like to share my review in detail: 1. We reached here after a long 9 hours journey. At the main entrance itself after scanning our luggage we were shown the way through stairs by the help staff since reception is at first floor. We had to climb nearly 40 stairs. We came to know later next day that lift is also available but don’t know why the help staff always guides for stairs only who will really mind to go these number of upstairs after long journeys. 2. On reaching at reception we encountered with Mr Mahipal ji …. A person with such a rude behaviour …..too slow for check in process and his way of talking…..I have never seen such a rude behaviour in any of Radisson properties through out India…..authorities should take a note…such employees spoils the name of Radisson . He didn’t gave us basic informations too eg directions to room …password…..restaurant timings and on enquiring he just told about restaurant fift9 whereas we came to know only after dinner that another restaurant with more options in menu is situated on second floor. 3. First day night we went to restaurant fifty9 as we knew only about it ….the choice is very very limited in menu. Since Bundelkhandi dinner was available in buffet we had to go for alacarta. We ordered mushroom soup and tomato soup—-both very expensive and tasteless…waiter helped us to decide starters …we went for lotus stem with honey …which was satisfactory…paneer shaslik…which didn’t met our taste buds….and hakka noodles which were delicious but served without vinegar , katchup and soya sauce…on demand we were served tomato ketchup. 4. We had booked a premium room and expected good and comfortable stay. To our dismay room had twin beds separated with a side table…only one sofa chair..one study table. There is very shortage of counter table which is much needed during stay for placing day to day articles.A counter slab beneath tv is much essential…..rest of room is good however floor tiles creek while walking and need urgent attention……….,,,,,,…………….. 5. Morning breakfast scores 10/10 marks. A lot of varieties…good behaving lady staff…every thing is delicious whichever I tried…nice tea and very crunchy phans on tea stall made my day….. 6. Next evening we went for the dinner in restaurant upstairs and found that same had been prebooked for some event and only restaurant fifty 9 is available. No problem as management has to decide priorities but a notice should have been displayed at prominent point so that residents may avoid going up to use the same. Over all conclusion is that if you are searching for luxurious stay and have good taste buds avoid this property ……..,more expensive and not worth for the price they charge whether it is room...

Extremely Disappointing Stay – A Stain on the Radisson Brand Generally I do not give negative comments to any hotel as minor issues should be ignored but I am forced to say that Radisson Blu Marina, Connaught Place is a blot on the name of Radisson. What they sell as a “premium 4/5-star hotel” is nothing more than an overpriced, old guest house charging ₹21,500 (After 8000 discount coupon from MMT) for a ₹2,000 room. I stayed here for four nights, and every day only confirmed that this property does not deserve to carry the Radisson name. 1️⃣ Arrival & First Impressions You are greeted by two security guards, followed by a small security check. The moment you reach the reception on the first floor, reality hits — this is not a 4/5-star hotel. The ambience is dull, outdated, and poorly maintained, and the staff looks untrained and indifferent. Once you enter the so-called Business Class Room, you’re in for a shock. The room is tiny, suffocating, and overpriced. 2️⃣ Room Condition • The windows are covered in thick layers of dust and pollution, clearly not cleaned for months. • The view is just a cluttered road full of traffic and garbage. • There’s no ceiling fan or exhaust, making the room stuffy and uncomfortable at night. 3️⃣ Basic Amenities – Practically Nonexistent • The tea/coffee setup has barely a few tea bags. • When you call for drinking water, no one answers initially. After repeated attempts, a rude receptionist informs you that water is paid. o One bottle costs ₹120, whereas even budget hotels provide complimentary bottled water. o We had to buy bottles from outside for ₹20 each! This is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be a Radisson Blu. 4️⃣ Breakfast Disaster The breakfast area is cramped and gloomy, with poor lighting and limited food choices — kachori, bread pakora, dosa, etc. It felt more like eating at a local halwai shop than a 4-star restaurant. 5️⃣ Maintenance & Hygiene Issues One morning, loud noises from the corridor woke us up — another guest was shouting about water leaking from their bathroom. The water had reached the corridor, and staff were using fans to dry the carpets. Clearly, maintenance is poor and unprofessional. 6️⃣ Overall Experience Every day brought new disappointments. I seriously considered moving to another hotel, but having already paid ₹85,867, I was stuck. 🚫 Final Verdict This hotel is a black spot on the Radisson name. After enjoying excellent hospitality at Radisson Faridabad, this experience was shocking. This property doesn’t deserve even 10% of the Radisson standard. Rating: 1/5 stars. If you value comfort, service, or hygiene — avoid this hotel at all costs. My wife and I stayed at Radisson Blu Marina Hotel in Connaught Place, New Delhi, India, from July 26, 2023, to July 29, 2023. The hotel has an excellent central location, making it convenient for both business and leisure travelers. This is not a very big hotel, the lobby is situated on the first floor, accessible via a small elevator from the ground floor. I believe there is only one elevator at this hotel. There were no robes provided in the room despite the hotel's website advertising the availability of robes in the rooms. Once we made a request for robes, they were provided. Generally, the hotel is reasonably clean, and the food meets expectations. On Saturdays and Sundays the dining hall is crowded during breakfast and sometimes guests have to wait in the lobby to get a table in the dining hall. The abundance of dining options available at several restaurants around Connaught Place is a notable advantage. Prior to this stay in July 2023, we had stayed at this hotel in December 2022 also and enjoyed New Year's Eve dinner in 2022. However, there is a recurring issue that the management needs to address. On both occasions of our stay, we encountered staff members who, despite not providing any service to us during our stay, followed us out of the hotel to solicit tips during check-out. During our last stay one person brought out our luggage but another hotel employee and a security person whom we had never seen before followed us right up the car. The security person stood near our car and was signaling other people in the lobby to also come forward to get tips. Other than the tip left in the room for room service, there are three other people that I noticed deserved tips. The doorman at the front door, the person working the X-ray machine in the lobby and the person who helps carry out your luggage. Despite giving out tips one person went so far as to bang on the car window as we drove away. Given these experiences, we have chosen to book our upcoming visit to India in January 2024 at the Hyatt hotel in Delhi. We have reservations for a 24-day stay and will share our review of the Hyatt hotel after our visit.
