We tried them for the 1st time since wanted to try something new. Its a cosy cafe. We ordered for a square pizza with veggies, cold coffee & a cappuccino. The pizza was very flaky & scanty vegetables. More like vegetables on a chapati. Even the cheese was rubbery. Had no taste. You need to ask for olive oil & sauces. Asked them to get a fresh pizza. They refused 1st that its as per standards but on insisting called the chef. He made another one, which was much better. Selling a pizza for Rs 595 & not good. You waste your time & energy. The service attitude is not good & very rigid especially the manager Mr Anil Sharma. We had reserved through dineout just prior to coming in. There was an offer of a complimentary dessert on an order of Rs 1000. 1st the manager argued that he had received the booking at the time of discussion & hence the offer is not applicable while we had booked before & the reservation was showing waitlisted. He wouldn't confirm & after much discussion agreed to give the offer. At the very 1st instance, he is saying we levy service charge & you need to pay. Service charge is discretionary you cant force it. There is a lot of overwriting in their menu. Our total bill fell short by Rs 10 like it was Rs 990 instead of Rs 1000 & that too cos of the overwriting in the menu. We thought that the pizza was for Rs 635, which they said was for 595. Then the manager debated & argued on the dessert offer. Then agreed to give a 10% discount & just gave a Rs 59.50 discount on the pizza, no discount on coffee as per him. We were so exhausted that ddnt even feel like saying another word. We cudnt have our food on peace, we ddnt relish it at all. Moral of the story, the manager has no regard & service attitude. We expect a good service, food & attitude in such places, which is lacking here. The lower staff is still better. Prices are high but Quality is not at par. He talks as if he has the best outlet around & there is no comparison with their standards but market is very competitive. If you cant even talk nicely, why would the customer return? I won't I am a food blogger too. For every small thing the manager argues & debates so u dont feel like going to such places where u pay hefty but can't even have good food in peace. Caffe Tonino is this little restaurant tucked into a lane in H Block Connaught Place. It has a lovely look on the inside, surprisingly quiet, friendly staff and a reasonable menu with something for most. We shared a Summer Spaghetti and a Melanzane Parmigiana to start and fillet of grilled river sole as our main (₹2100 total). Priya and Rohit on the team helped make the afternoon memorable. I'd definitely return, but will absolutely avoid the non vegetarian mains. Some feedback 1. Mozzarella is not an acceptable substitute for parmesan 2. Avoid brining meats, fish and chicken for too long, especially grilled items. It gives them a preserved sort of texture, in addition to being over salted. That texture is acceptable for some uses but never ever for freshly grilled steaks, fillets and the like. If you must, please consider lowering the solution concentration. 3. Day old bread is for croutons, and mustn't be served as bread, toasted or not. 4. Avoiding pressing down the fish so much whilst grilling. One ends up with Tawa Fry Macchi, not a grilled fillet. Also, this concentrates the salt content further.

In the last five years have travelled to many places many cities none come close to Cafe Tonino when it's about italian food. Where is a very interesting story about my discovery of cafe tonino know as well. Bacchon college after fight with my friend I was very upset and crying in the metro when this very kind Italian lady came up to me and consoled me, she had this very warm and comforting aura. Sushi proposed to lift up my mood she will take me to one of our favourite places, and I followed her all the way to this place. She ordered some brownies for me and one plate of this chicken dish I don't recall the name, as soon as I tasted it I was in heaven. Maybe it is the story behind it or maybe it is the food and the quality of it but since then whenever I want to go on a date with my friends I drag them do this place. Cafe tonino will always be special ✨

Cafe Tonino is a hidden gem that has left a lasting impression on my dining experience. After scouring the internet for reviews, I was thrilled to discover that this quaint cafe has been consistently praised for its exceptional cuisine and cozy ambiance.

One dish that caught my attention was the fish fillet, which has been touted as a must-try by numerous reviewers. And I must say, it lives up to the hype! The fish is cooked to perfection, with a crispy exterior giving way to a tender and flaky interior. The flavors are expertly balanced, with a hint of lemon and herbs that complement the delicate taste of the fish.

Another standout dish is the Non-Veg Lover Pizza, which has been praised for its generous toppings and flavorful sauce. The pizza is loaded with a variety of meats, including chicken, sausage, and bacon, making it a paradise for non-vegetarians. The crust is crispy and well-cooked, providing a satisfying crunch with each bite.

But what truly sets Cafe Tonino apart is its warm and inviting ambiance.

The cafe's cozy decor, which features comfortable seating, soft lighting, and vintage accents. The atmosphere is relaxed and intimate, making it an ideal spot for dates, family gatherings, or casual meetups with friends.

In conclusion, Cafe Tonino is a culinary gem that is sure to delight even the most discerning palates. With its exceptional fish fillet, Non-Veg Lover Pizza, and cozy ambiance, this cafe is a must-visit destination for foodies and anyone looking for a memorable...

I had the misfortune of dining at Caffe Tonino today for lunch and it was without a doubt one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Firstly, the service was abysmal. We were made to wait 25-30 minutes for our food when we had ordered only 2 items. The food, when it arrived was cold. We had ordered a Bruschetta and Arrabbiata Pasta, the garlic bread in the Bruschetta was absolutely stone cold and they didn't even bother to toast it! There was no topping of olive oil and basil even though they have clearly stated it in their menu. A traditional Bruschetta is served warm and with the garlic bread toasted but here we received an exact opposite version of the same - an utter disappointment when you consider the fact that it costs Rs. 325 excluding taxes and they serve only 3 pieces of garlic bread. The pasta tasted fine but they took 30 minutes to prepare it and the quantity was outrageously small for the exorbitant price of Rs. 500 excluding tax. This was followed by the gentleman sitting adjacent to our table complaining that his thin crust pizza wasn't baked and looked like a clump of dough, all this discouraged us from ordering any other item from their menu. Overall, I would discourage everyone reading this from visiting Caffe Tonino. Save your time, money and taste buds and choose a different dining...
