Hotel Daffodils — Hotel in New Delhi

One of the worst places ever been to! A combination of pathetic hotel and terrible service and the room is not even worth Rs 500. They are just deceiving people by their photographs because when u reach there you realise its not even 1% of what it's being shown. For a 3 star hotel with Rs 3000 room following are the facilities provided: Firstly, they don't even have a proper entrance. Its like entering a sidy and cheap hotel from dungeon. Then the rooms are so small that when you keep your luggage you feel like your are in a store room with Havel's side table fan. Then the bathroom door doesn't have a lock. And to top it the bathroom stinks like hell. Then there is no hot water available. Then the color of water is yellow I.e. muddy water and they actually expect you to have bath in this because as per them "yaha aisa hi paani aata hai" Then when you order a burger from their menu, after half an hour they come back to you and say "aapne jo order kiya voh humare menu mein nahi hai" and when u show them their menu they say "humara aadmi pura Connaught place ghum k aaya kahi nahi mila.." A 3 star hotel charging Rs 3000 per night for stay doesn't even have a restaurant..and they give such lame reasons.. The list just goes on and on..

Never ever visit Fabhotels daffodils inn at Connaught place in delhi. Its a shame on Fabhotels name...

This hotel is located within the most central destinations of Delhi, that is Connaught place. Rajiv Chowk metro station is just walking distance away from this hotel. So accessibility and it's location are biggest plus for the hotel. Talking about other things, I found the staffs as very courteous, polite and hospitable. Food was not that great, but manageable in case if you don't have much choices. But this is where it's location becomes handy. Room size was very small compared to the price they charge. But in my case they provided an alternate room which was more spacious. But in my case, it was an exception. So better to check on advance if you are ok with the room or not and then actually pay for this. Overall if you don't get a decent size room then it is overpriced. But if you manage to get the right room, then it's decent enough just for the location where...

Location is probably the main thing that is driving people to this hotel. The rooms are well sized and the staff is polite. Being in the center of the city it's convenient as well. Beds are comfortable. Food did not smell appetizing so have take away or delivery options available on hand.

My biggest concern was the bugs that showed their faces only at night. I stayed just one night and I had to kill approximately five dirt bugs, and scout for more before I could afford myself the luxury of sleeping on the bed.

The rooms don't stink and the bathrooms are cleanish. (again this is primarily because of the bugs). Towels were clean and usable.

Would I use this hotel again? Maybe not given for the price I could potentially find other hotels that are significantly better. But this place served its purpose in a cinch and I lived to...
