IMED Pune BBA Course Review
IMED Pune, part of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, offers a BBA program that’s pretty well-structured and affordable, making it a decent choice for students who want a good mix of academics and practical exposure. The college has NAAC ‘A+’ accreditation, which adds credibility, but like any institute, it has its pros and cons.
Academics & Faculty
The BBA syllabus covers all the important management subjects like Marketing, Finance, HR, and Business Analytics, and the teaching style is mostly theory-based with some case studies and presentations. Faculty members are knowledgeable and helpful, but some classes can feel a bit monotonous. Adding more guest lectures from industry professionals would definitely make learning more engaging.
Placements & Internships
Placements at IMED are decent but not extraordinary. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Deloitte visit, but the job roles are mostly in IT, consulting, and sales rather than core management positions. Internships are encouraged, and if you’re proactive, you can get good exposure, but high-paying offers aren’t very common. You’ll need to work on your skills outside of college to land top roles.
Campus Life & Facilities
The campus is well-maintained with modern classrooms, a library, and decent Wi-Fi. The hostel facilities are average, and there’s room for improvement in extracurricular activities. That said, IMED does have a good number of clubs, events, and fests, which help students build networks and enjoy their college life.
Final Verdict
IMED Pune’s BBA program is a solid option for students looking for an affordable and well-rounded business degree. While placements and industry exposure could be better, students who take initiative and make the most of the available resources can build a strong...
Read moreFor Bharati Vidyapeeth - Dhankawadi Campus, Katraj, Pune I will give a brief idea about the college as well as the New Ladies Hostel where I stayed for few months. I was a student of MSc WCA but discontinued only after 3 months in this year. Look-wise hostel as well as the college are decent. But the course did not meet my expectations at all. Syllabi are almost same for EVS, WCA and GIS. The course curriculum is not at all book oriented and seemed quite absurd to me. It comprised mostly of field work and practical classes which had no link with wild life conservation directly. Leaving few, faculties are also not reliable. Coming to hostel, it is overpriced. Food and facilities are not at par with the money charged for an occupant. Most of the facilities are only on papers but not in real. For night out, it is not so difficult to seek permission. The student or her parents need to send a mail to the hostel office mail id from the registered mail in case of leaves or night outs. After receiving mail, warden will confirm the same over phone on the number provided during admission. There is no limitation to the period and frequency of leaves. Normal hostel timing - last entry 8.30pm except Sunday, Sunday - 9.30pm. Latecomers are not served food. P.S - In accordance with my personal experience effective in...
