Hotel Rutugandh Heritage — Hotel in Pune

It’s a budget hotel located in the heart of the city. The property is quite old and is situated near Deccan Gymkhana Metro station and just behind the PMT Bus depot. The fact that they allowed free early check-in about 2 hours before the actual check-in time of noon is highly appreciable. It has a lift and an in-house restaurant & bar. The same food is served in the rooms as well without any extra charge for room service. Both the veg and non-veg food are tasty and reasonably priced. The room service needs to be quicker as one must occasionally remind them before getting the food delivered to the room. The staff were courteous, but they need to improve their services. Also, they should at least provide a jug of drinking water and two glasses in the room. The staff is least concerned whether the guests have drinking water or not. Unless one calls the reception or room service a couple of times, they don’t even send water, which is pathetic. We were looking for bigger room in budget price as rooms here in Pune are small and it's difficult for me even to move around. Rutugandh came to be a great option. We booked a suite and it is huge 340 sq. Ft with huge rooms with big bed, one couch, with attached bathroom, and one living room with one sofa and two chairs. Ample amount of side tables, big size mirror etc. Buffet breakfast had only vadas, chutney, sambhar, sheera, bread butter with chai. It is a 3rd class hotel. It's an old building but even if we go there it's not clean at all. When we ordered food 2 times cockroaches literally vomited me ..plz no one go there ..and when we went to complaint.,they were talking about the food. Then you want to cancel the order, almost halfway through the meal, there are cockroaches coming downstairs, and if they have this language, please don't go Rutugandh hotel Deccan, and you will find very good hotels...
