Masaledar Biryani House, Sadashiv Peth, Pune** 16/09/2024 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you're on the lookout for a culinary gem in Pune, look no further than Masaledar Biryani House in Sadashiv Peth! Our recent dining experience at this delightful spot was nothing short of exceptional, and I can't wait to share our experience.
We decided to indulge in some of their signature dishes – the Shahi Chicken Biryani, a Mutton Thali, and a side of Bheja Fry. From the moment the food arrived at our table, we could tell we were in for a treat. Every dish was absolutely mouthwatering and bursting with flavor!
The Shahi Chicken Biryani was a standout. The aroma alone was enough to welcome us into a world of rich spices and tender chicken, creating an unforgettable experience. The rice was perfectly cooked, fluffy and infused with a delightful blend of spices that truly elevated the whole dish. It’s easily enough to serve three, making it an excellent value for the portion size.
The Mutton Thali was a feast in itself, featuring a generous assortment of dishes that could easily satisfy two hungry diners. Each component was prepared with care, highlighting the tenderness and flavor of the mutton. We especially loved the accompanying Pandhara Rassa and Tambada Rassa – both served in unlimited portions. It was a great touch that perfectly complemented our meal, and they were just as delicious as the main dishes.
And I must give a special mention to the Bheja Fry! This dish was simply divine; the spices used were spot-on, and the texture was perfectly balanced. It paired beautifully with both the curries and the rich biryani.
While the ambiance of the restaurant is relatively simple, it’s a small price to pay for the incredible food that brings such joy to the dining experience. You go to Masaledar Biryani House for the flavors, and they certainly deliver on that front!
What impressed us even more was the reasonable pricing, considering the large portions and high quality of the food. For anyone looking for an authentic and satisfying meal in Pune, Masaledar Biryani House is a must-visit!
In summary, if you haven’t yet tasted the amazing fare at Masaledar Biryani House, you’re truly missing out! Great food, generous portions, and an inviting atmosphere make it a lovely stop for both casual diners and food enthusiasts alike. We will definitely be...

As it is said Any fool can have bad luck; the art consists in knowing how to exploit it.
For good Maharashtrian non veg food I am sure this is definitely a place to go. Tambda and Pandhara rassa tastes good.
I wrote review for Masaledar once then I have to delete it , giving one more chance to this shop. But it seems misfortune haunts me. :( Let me be specific, taste wise I liked this place. We tasted Egg fried mutton chop, mutton fry thali, egg masala thali, with bhakri and rice. Then I also tried the chicken biryani. Taste wise yes rating is 4 . But two consecutive incident happened. Maybe it's my bad luck. I availed service from this restaurant two time. Once I went there to have food and next I did home delivery. Home delivery was quick well 4 star for that also. He delivered the food in half an hour.
I rated less for two incident which happened with me . First when I went to have food he (waiter) who dropped a piece of mutton chop on table. When asked he said to pick up the food and eat.
Second, this happened when I ordered home delivery. There was cockroach in pandhara rassa. I am sure it was cockroach only and not any other flying insects from mother Nature. Maybe it's my bad luck.
During First incident he (owner) apologised and ensured to provide one more fresh piece and asked the waiter to remove the one on table. I really appreciate him for his corrective measures. For second one I didn't inform him. I am sure he would have apologised and ensured some corrective measures but I was not sure.. He should change his staffs. Undoubtedly they are not hygienic or the place or I am not...
