Living in ved niketan ashram feels home. I personally feel very peaceful and comfortable coming to this place. Being surrounded by mountains, flora and holy river Ganga, the prana energy is very high which is ideal for going into a meditative state without much effort. Continuous Vedic pujas and yagyas happen there making the space lively! This is my fourth visit to the ashram and i would say this is the perfect place to stay in rishikesh. It caters to all basic needs including hygienic satvic food, hot-cold water cooler, clean toilets, room heater and AC. The managing staff here is also very welcoming and generous. Added, the ashram has a buffer of parking space so I was much relaxed with my car security. The market is just a few steps away making it a tourist friendly ashram. Just opposite to Janki Sethu. Location is best. This place is now taken over by AOL but AOL not changed the owners main structure and picture. students live there in hostel and study Ved and other study in Gurukul. AOL also conducts courses in this premises. Individual rooms with toilet are good to stay but common toilets and bathrooms for dormitories may need to more cleaner and to make separate from there working staff which makes them dirty and don’t flush.
