Aviary Cafe Rishikesh — Restaurant in Uttarakhand

Fresh into Rishikesh and after my mum & I rushed over for Ganga Aarti and I took an unexpected holy dip 🤣 - we decided on a venue for dinner. Leave it to Google to refer The Aviary and off we went.

We were greeted with smiles and genuine kindness all the way through by two employees; Ashish & Sandeep. Ashish handled our orders and Sandeep our refreshments. Their dynamic was great and their service even greater. Thank you boys, appreciate you two!

As for The Aviary - the ambiance and décor is all very welcoming and stylish same way. In terms of the stars of the show - we ordered Peanut Chaat, French Fries, Mushroom Masala, Tandoori Roti, Hot N Sour / Sweet Corn Soup, Virgin Pina Colada and finally - Masala Lemon Soda.

Everything was amazing. And for all of that, our bill was a beyond reasonable imo.

We spent almost 2 hours, having an elaborate breakfast. It’s an oasis of calm that stands in strong contract to the hectic, buzzing streets outside. You can enjoy a nice view over the Ganges while gorging on freshly prepared northern Indian dishes and fresh drinks. There‘s the possibility to charge your phone and relax on low tables and comfy pillows. Certainly the nicest place we’ve been in Rishikesh.

The waiter was attentive and patiently explained us all items on the menu that we didn’t know.

To get to the roof top restaurant you need to go walk pass the lobby of the hotel and take the elevator to the top floor.

We spent 2500 rupees, which seems a lot for India, but we had fresh juices, teas, coffees, an elaborate meal with soup and multiple dishes, a fruit platter and desert. We ate our fill and had 2 hours of tranquility, very...

Aviary Cafe is an absolute delight! The food is freshly prepared using high-quality herbs, making every bite a treat for the taste buds. The ambiance is warm and inviting, especially the lower seating area where you can remove your shoes and relax after a stroll through the charming narrow streets of Rishikesh.

The cafe stands out for its impeccable hygiene and the staff’s humble service. Their genuine hospitality will leave you smiling and coming back for more. A perfect spot to unwind and enjoy great food. Kudos to the Aviary team for creating such a serene and enjoyable experience.
