Gita Bhawan is one of the most Pious place in Rishikesh. Situated on the bank of river Ganga. A total of 7 buildings are there of Gita Bhawan numbered from Gita Bhawan 1 to 7. Gita Bhawan 7 is still under construction as on date. Gita Bhawan 1 and 3 are most renowned and famous and have special place in heart for devotees.

Gita Bhawan 3 is known for the place where Param Shradhye Swami Ramsukhdas Maharaj Ji used to deliver discourse on Gita. Param Shradhye Swami Ramsukhdas Maharaj ji is the author of well known book "Sadhak Sanjeevni" (Gita with Hindi Tika). Gita Bhawan 3 is a must Visit place for all the pilgrims, the ambience is awesome with a lot of mango trees with name राम painted on them. Param Shradhye Swami Ramsukhdas ji Maharaj also spent his much time here. Param Shradhye Swami Ramsukhdas ji Maharaj ji took Samadhi at a place very near to Gita Bhawan No 7 which is situated on bank of river Ganga.

Gita Bhawan 6 has a forest of Tulsi (Vrindavan) with lot of mango trees.

Regular satsangs by famous saints are held in Gita Bhawan premises on various occasions. Its a great place to stay with pleasent surroundings and ambience. The charges for room are very nominal and food is also provided at nominal rates.

Very crupt system in Rishikesh on the name of Ashram. We booked 3 days before n they didn’t take money online, when we reached there, they asking Big amour for a single night and on the name of facility there is nothing, zeero. Cheap room very cheap room, no light no cleaning. It’s not only about Geeta bhawan all ashram are on the same t&c. They asking a big amount on the name of donation they even then didn’t provide us lock for room, they giving us room like a tenants and they charging while month’s amt for a single night. Haridwar is much batter in the name of Dharamshala they provide all facilities and charging a nominal amt. There is no Dharamshala in Rishikesh there is only ashram which is totally crupt n so cheap and they charging amt like a oyo hotel with zero facility. If they are charging amt atorat give us that kinda facility but on the name of facility they said this is a ashram, if this is a ashram then how they can charge 1500/- to 2000/- for a single night. Then that would be provide free of cost or a nominal amt. 1500/- & 200/- for a night is not a nominal amt for a ashram there is even not a bucket or mug in washroom. I hate this system really. Me n my family suffered a lot here today. If we are paying they they cut a slip of charity, like we are giving them charity for a night stay, what the hell is this. Totally fake n...

Well in Geeta bhawan office it's mentioned "यह भवन सत्संगियों के द्वारा सत्संग के लिए बनाया गया है" So if your intend fit in above statement you can stay at this place otherwise a big no is there

Yes management give rooms by giving faces Like if you are from rajasthan, if you belong to particular caste (Baniya) , a brief interview for that how much donation you can pay them like your job etc because on donation there is no GST then chances are very high even if you don't say initially that you intend is to do satsang you can get rooms.

Like I seen a lady she said "Can I get room for a day ?" Management said "No"

Another person come and said "I want a room for my family. A big room because family is big tommorow we will leave" Management said "we don't give room for a day atleast 5-7 days" Person said "but ladies are there" Management asked"where are you from" Person said "Rajasthan" Management said okay come

Seen another person "Management was saying men saty in men dormitory and women stay in women dormitory They charge them 1000

So management see faces And I know 80% of rooms are vacant

But overall concept is good but this attitude of castism and judging people is very very bad for growth...
