Host Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in West Bengal

The restaurant is situated in Lake Town very near to Jaya Multiplex on one side & the famous clock tower on other side. The location is connected to both VIP road one-way & Jessore road on the other. Whenever we go for our doctor Nitin Mittal, ENT Specialist we have our lunch there. Since all of us in my family are health conscious we like to have the Chinese food which is less spicy. Frequently we take chicken corn soup with fried noodles or crispy baby corn as starters. For the main course we take noodles with chicken and or scheswan chicken fried rice with chilli chicken in gravies and or scheswan garlic chicken. The food is awesome in comparison to any famous restaurant. The price is also very much pocket friendly. The atmosphere inside is very much calm and quiet. The restaurant is old and shabby, felt like time travel. Anyway, I wasn't expecting anything extraordinary after seeing the reviews. I just wanted some decent food; however, it turned out to be horrible! The fish was stale, hard, and rubbery. They did not even cook the fried fish in the garlic-lemon-butter gravy. They probably just applied the sauce on fried fish when it was already cold because the fish was hard and had no flavor of the gravy! The mixed noodles were very salty and oily and smelled weird. The ambience of the place is quite decent and peaceful. You can have a certain level of privacy when you visit with your loved one. The prices are average. The main dish which i like the most is the Cantonese Noodles. It's massively healthy and surprisingly tasty as well. Located in a secluded spot in a busy place it is a must visit. The prices of items are in the range of 200-300. One noodles or rice dish with a chicken item should cost around 500 which is affordable for the most part. The main thing is the ambience.
