Most of you guys must have known Phoenix marketcity. I really missed Spencer plaza after visiting here. Locating a particular store is really hard here. Navigation signs aren't in every direction. Normal staircase is only available in fire exit. Could have added more budget friendly stores here. You can take someone you hate the most and lose him/her here. They will get lost for sure. I just wanted to see and explore the place because I heard there is another mall inside, Palladium. If you want to spend sometime with friends in a building full of air conditioner and feel like it's ok to spend time in LUXE THEATRE even if it's a bit costly than other places, you can very well choose PHOENIX MALL. If you want to visit a mall and purchase with family, than this isn't such a great place. It's full of foreign brands and I didn't see even a single customer in any shops. The only thing that will be entertaining here if you go with family or friends is funcity where you can let your kids play and collect gifts for the tokens they win, Luxe theatre, food court. Most of the stores are very pricey. Food court has very few hotels which are pricey too. 2 idlies just 180. My mom would have disowned me if I had ordered it. I ended up eating in Dominos pizza and squeeze juice bar. I didn't feel like eating in most of the other hotels in that food court because I was focused on gut friendly food.
Dominos pizza It took long to order as the system wouldn't start. The girl in the counter wasn't that helpful in explaining about anything in the menu. Can't blame her because people started gathering and the computer wouldn't start. So I didn't disturb her much.
I ordered veg 4 course meal combo and a single ๐ฎ taco for me It has a regular pizza(choice is either corn or onion pizza) 3 veg patties, a dip and a mini pepsi pet bottle. Pizza was ok. Nothing to complain. It has corn and cheese, dip is nothing but tomato sauce with a small cube of cheese in it and potato patties. Pepsi pet bottle is of course pepsi which I didn't drink. Tacos was a bit hard with mild oregano and tangy sauce inside with the same potato patties.
Non veg 4 course meal combo for mom. A non veg pizza which had chicken. The girl in the counter didn't explain about any choices of pizza in non veg. Non veg patties and same dip. My mom didn't complain about anything. Both combos were more than enough for a single person.
Thought of trying ice cream Squeeze juice bar (claimed to be 100% vegetarian) I ordered brownie with ice cream The brownie was dry and hard smelled and tasted like egg topped with vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate sauce and almond nuts which was very hard. The whole ice cream was placed in wafer cup which was very hard to bite.
Kulfi ice cream falooda for mom. It was good with normal kulfi and malai kulfi ice cream with rose milk, vermicelli, sabja seeds, fruits(frozen) & some flavoured milk. It was better than my brownie and ice cream.
I used to love visiting big bazaar when I was a kid. Now smart bazaar not that huge with varieties like big bazaar. I lost interest in taking pictures. There isn't much of clothing section. Rice and lentil varieties in loose is of good quality and much lesser price than outside stores. Fruits and veggies were really good and fresh. A bit cheaper too. Most of chocolates, biscuits, face washes are like buy 1 get 1 or buy 2 get 1. All the products had offers and discounts.
There is a small book shop called Om book shop here. Not much book collections but they had my favorite collections here. There is sale going on for kids books and i always loved book stores because I love reading and books keep me grounded. I really...

I visited Chai Wale at Phoenix Marketcity, thinking Iโd get a quick cup of tea and a snack. What I got instead was a bizarre mix of overpricing, arrogance, bad hygiene and zero service.
โน45 for one cup of tea โ okay, mall rates. But when I asked for an extra cup for my daughter (because the tea was hot), the manager looked at me as if I asked for his property papers.
Forget warmth โ this guy doesnโt even know what basic decency means.
I saw other customers also being treated the same. One person politely asked for water, and the manager bluntly said: โBuy something or donโt ask.โ
The counter was dirty, and I saw cockroaches crawling under the table while food was being served.
The manager talks down to staff like theyโre not even human. You could see discomfort on employeesโ faces.
The entire setup looks and smells unhygienic. Clothes dirty, and he stares at people in a disturbing way.
As for the food:
The tea had no actual taste โ just hot water with ginger dumped in.
Samosa was burned.
Paneer puff barely had paneer, and the veg puff stuffing tasted stale.
I honestly felt slightly sick afterward โ donโt know if it was food poisoning or just the bad quality.
Also:
They charge GST, but you donโt get a bill unless you force them.
Manager behaves like he owns the mall. Loud, arrogant, no manners.
People donโt mind paying high prices. But they do mind being treated like trash.
โ ๏ธ Phoenix Marketcityโs management needs to take this seriously. This guy is not only ruining the brand โChai Waleโ, heโs also spoiling the mallโs image.
โค Please, replace this manager with someone who knows what service, hygiene, and respect look like.
๐ด To Phoenix Marketcity Management:
As a regular visitor and a store owner within this mall, I request you to take immediate action regarding this outlet.
This is not just a case of bad service โ itโs a serious hygiene concern, customer mistreatment, and reputational damage to your entire shopping complex.
Please audit this outlet thoroughly. If needed, replace the current manager with someone trained and professional.
Your mall is known for its premium image โ donโt let one stall damage that reputation.
