Pizza Hut | Phoenix Market City, Chennai — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Easily one of the worst Pizza Hut in Chennai for the following reasons:

Very understaffed - Go there on a weekend, you won't even get the menu card even after waiting for more than 10 mins. Unorganized order taking - Random ppl will take food orders.. It's there, but not there (Irruku ana ille): Availability of items are subject to who you ask. When I ordered for garlic bread, the waiter promptly told me Garlic breads are over. Then I see other people getting it. This time when I ask a different waiter, it is available. Leaky ceiling - Water was randomly dripping on us from the AC pipe.. No one even complained as there were bigger problems! 😜 Faulty Bill - I had three medium pizza and a garlic stick. The bill was more than Rs 3000 which also included the Garlic bread that was temporarily not available only for our table. Then when I complained, they removed items that the ppl in nearby take ate and charged me Rs 2050. Still I didn't get the bill. The staff was saying if the amount doesnt tally, they need to pay from pocket.. Probably the worst place to work or something is fishy.

Whoever owns this Franchise, clearly has no control over this place.

Add to this, you are paying for the Phoenix parking, it makes no sense to dine here.. Better decision would be find another pizza hut on your way home or order take away, then shop for 30 mins somewhere in Phoenix and take away when pizza is ready.

You might ask, Why then 2 stars? Pizza is still the best.. Pizza...

I wish there was 0 to give review. Had the worst experience ever. As we entered a much vacant pizza hut, the person taking orders wont let us sit until we give the order and pay.

Then we try to find some clean place to sit, and the same person escorted us to a seat. The entire table was wet, i could still see remains of earlier customers food. Then we looked around only to realise the person was cleaning the tables only after calling and he would simply clean the entire mess from table on the seats, and thats it, the table is clean.

When i asked the person to clean our table, he held our plates with the same dirty hands which btw, still had the dirty foam. After cleaning he left the plates on our table left, i could see some of the things he cleaned on my plates. Disgusting.

And for the final touch, the waiter who brought the pizza slammed the pizza on our table and left. I am now not sure if i went to some jail. We had the italian chicken supreme pizza. And now my taste buds hate me for what i served them. I am never going back to this...

I would like to divide my review into location, quality of food and ambiance. The location of this pizza-hut outlet is very hard to identify in the phoenix market city. I had to literally ask many people and follow the signs to enter this restaurant. I hope management does something to let the customers know that there is a pizza-hut outlet so that they can attract more crowd. Quality of food is amazing, just like any other pizza-hut outlet. The pizza is american crust, soft and cheesy. But I'm very disappointed by the quality of the drinks. They had more ice which killed the soul of the drink! (this is what happens when you think about profits and not customer satisfaction) Ambiance: It is up to the mark and very well served and well behaved servers...
