Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Punjab Grill, and I am compelled to share my exceptional experience with all of you. From the moment I stepped in, it was clear that this was no ordinary dining establishment.
The ambiance was a perfect blend of warmth and elegance, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey. The staff's attentiveness and genuine hospitality added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. However, one individual stood out and truly made our visit remarkable – the restaurant manager, Mr. Eangals.
Mr. Eangals's presence was felt throughout the restaurant. His impeccable ability to orchestrate the smooth flow of service while engaging with patrons was truly impressive. He exuded a passion for ensuring that each guest was not only satisfied but genuinely delighted. It's evident that his leadership has cultivated a team that takes immense pride in delivering excellence.
The culinary voyage itself was nothing short of a masterpiece. The flavors danced on my palate with every bite, each dish crafted with finesse and authenticity. The menu boasted an array of dishes that captured the essence of Punjab's rich culinary heritage, yet presented with a modern flair.
The standout moments of the evening were made even more memorable by Mr. Eangals's personal interactions. His recommendations showcased his deep understanding of the menu and his dedication to tailoring each guest's experience to their preferences. His genuine interest in ensuring our satisfaction was heartwarming and created a connection that went beyond a typical dining outing.
In a world where dining experiences can often feel rushed and impersonal, Punjab Grill and its manager, Mr. Eangals, stand as a beacon of exceptional hospitality and culinary artistry. This isn't just a restaurant; it's a haven for food enthusiasts seeking an extraordinary experience.
If you're searching for a place where every aspect of your evening is meticulously curated to perfection, look no further than Punjab Grill. And do keep an eye out for Mr. Eangals – his dedication and passion are the heart and soul of this culinary gem.

Read moreWhile crowds converge on malls quite often, it often feels like the parking is a maze or a merry go round. And then finding your way through the brightly lit distractions that seem to present themselves on every floor.
Punjab Grill's signage is against a black background - which makes it a little harder to find. But it's right opposite the McDonald's in the Phoenix Mall in Velachery. That's a good way to locate it.
We were looking for simple but solid Punjabi fare. And we could not have chosen better.
Starting off with a dahi kebab. How do you convert yoghurt into a kebab? I don't have the faintest idea. But it works. Eat it quickly with the mint chutney dip and you'll discover that anything fried is yum. Including yoghurt.
Then it was a mixed raita, tandoori rotis and martabaan de aloo - full potatoes in a mild but flavoured coating. A break from the paneer variations we usually choose.
The food was good. And the rotis piping hot. The manager Neeraj was one of those who add an extra dash to an evening. By simply being pleasant and smiling with no effort at all.
I wonder if we'd go to Punjab Grill a lot more often if we didn't have to combine it with a mall visit. Maybe. But if you're looking for an authentic experience, it's worth doing the slow dance around the unending...

I ordered two dishes from Punjab Grill for my parents' wedding anniversary: tandoori chicken and chicken changezi. We were all really excited to indulge into some North-Indian food, however, we were really disappointed by the restaurant's service and also by the food itself.
The restaurant took awfully long to prepare our food and so the delivery was late. The food was cold when it arrived and we had to reheat it. The packaging was good and they also sent us some mint chutney and onion with the dishes that we ordered.
Coming to the dishes, the tandoori chicken was flavorful but it was really overcooked and the meat was too dry. Not expected from a place that claims to be gourmet on swiggy.
The changezi chicken was absolutely terrible because there was barely any meat on the chicken pieces. It was just bones! Moreover, the quantity was so less considering their high prices. We had ordered their family sized serving, which the menu stated was enough for 3 people, but that wasn't the case in reality.
The gourmet label that this restaurant has on swiggy is not justified because you can get better food at a dhaba.
Food rating- Tandoori chicken: 2/5 Changezi...
