A must-visit in Lovina – great food, stunning views & fantastic live music
We visited Spice Beach Club Lovina again this year with our family, after having a wonderful experience last year. The setting remains just as magical – right on the beach, with a stunning view over the calm waters of Lovina. The atmosphere here is relaxed yet stylish, perfect for both a casual lunch and an elegant dinner by the ocean.
The food was excellent, just like we remembered. I had a mushroom pizza, which was flavorful, with a perfectly crispy crust and just the right amount of toppings. The rest of the family also enjoyed their meals – everything was fresh, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. The menu offers a nice mix of Indonesian and international dishes, so there’s something for everyone.
One of the highlights of the evening was the fantastic live entertainment. The band and singer were absolutely amazing, creating the perfect laid-back beach club vibe. The music added so much to the experience – not too loud, just the right balance of energy and relaxation. We could still enjoy our conversations while soaking up the live performance.
What really makes Spice Beach Club special is the ambiance. The open-air seating, the sound of the waves, and the soft lighting create a truly special experience, especially as the sun sets. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.
We also took some drone footage here last year, and the aerial views of the beach club and Lovina’s coastline were breathtaking. It’s truly a picture-perfect location, whether you’re here for a meal, a drink, or just to relax by the water.
Overall, Spice Beach Club remains one of our favorite spots in Lovina. If you’re looking for great food, amazing live music, a stunning location, and a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere, this is the...
Read moreThis was the best restaurant we have been to in bali! We went here on a thursday evening. There was a whole performance about a dragon and a witch. There were also two female dancers doing a balinese dance. And there were boys making music with instruments. It was cool to see! The rest of the evening there was a live singer who was very good! The food was good. I had the cheese quessadillas (they were a bit tasteless, there was only cheese in it, but it was nice anyway) and fries. Then I had an iced coffee caramel, which was soooo good. My parents had a steak, they said it was the best steak they've had on bali. When we wanted to go back to our accomodation, there was a driver from the restaurant who drove us. It was a whole adventure in an open truck. We came back on saturday. There was a turtle release which was the best thing ever!!! There was a dance with 5 female dancers, men who made music with instruments and a live singer. Again, great to see. This time, I got the mie goreng vegetarian. It was really good. Then I got the iced coffee hazelnut and that one was also amazing. Then we were again driven back to the accomodation. The servers and hosts in this restaurant were soooo kind. Our server was also really funny so that made the experience even better. It's also a very nice place on the beach, we watched the sunset there. What a...
Read moreWe couldn’t even try the food but I give them one star only bc of the way they treat us / the way they lazily work.
First of all in google reviews they say it’s open till 12:30 am In TripAdvisor reviews they say it’s open till 01:00 am.
Then we logically thought that food would be served till late, of course not till the time they close but at least 11:00pm or 11:30pm.
We arrived at 09:45pm, when we arrived there they directly told us at the main door that we couldn’t order already. That the last order they took was at 10:00pm. As it was sooner than this hour we asked if we could order something quickly and then they said that the kitchen was already closed... So they close the kitchen 15 minutes before their last order ? Or they were just lying to us because of they didn’t want to attend us?
I don’t get it.... if you get the orders before 10:00 pm that means I can order food at 09:45pm, right ? Otherwise it has no sense...... I don’t understand if it’s low season and they were kind of empty why they didn’t want to attend us if we were on the range of time to order food ....
It’s sad that during the day they look for costumers everywhere but at the end of the day they try to “kick us” out even if it’s before the time they should close because they don’t want to...
