Marsella's — Attraction in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown

Still searching for a good chipper in Dublin.

I ordered delivery from Marsellas last night. To start off - the food took over 1 hour to be delivered and I live about 1km from the shop. I wanted to cancel the order after 30 mins but the phone was constantly engaged.

Foodwise - Ordered Chips with curry. The chips were great but the curry sauce was bland, had no taste.

The garlic mushrooms were tiny and had no garlic sauce in the delivery.

The battered sausage was tasty, have no fault with it.

The worst part of the order was the burger - this spot really needs to up their burger game, it was tiny and cost 7.20e. There should have been a proper Irish breadedchicken breast in there instead of processed flat chicken, looked like nuggets and also the salad amount was tiny.

I won't be giving them my money again.

Embassy Grill is still the best chipper I've had in Dublin, if anyone knows anywhere else on the southside that's good,...

Average food, rude staff. I'd eaten here several times until last year when I stopped in and ordered a special kebab from an apparently outdated menu. The woman taking my order told me I didn't know what I was talking about or I was in the wrong chipper but she'd make the order anyway. I went home, ate my kebab, got their menu from my kitchen and brought it back to show her. She confirmed it was an old menu but didn't bother to apologise for the way she spoke to me. They've recently remodelled so I stopped in again last night and the same woman got a nasty attitude when I asked if they had contactless payment and she had no idea what I was talking about. I'll never order from this...

I ordered fresh cod fish and chips yesterday at 530 pm. i was starving and craving for a lovely fish n chips which for me is a treat... But when I got home, to my great disappointment, I got a smoked fish, which I never ordered in my life because of salt content .. in my box were a smoked cod, chips, garlic mayo and to my surprise, a small piece of fresh cod perhaps to compensate for their intentional mistake..it was really disappointing abec i was so looking forward to a nice fresh cod fish n chips . They should had not asked my order in the first place. I took pictures...
