Went to see AcDc
Ticketmaster & MCD you need to take a look at yourselves .. our seats for AC/DC were so bad we were in line with the front of the stage. The band might as well have been a duet, as we only saw Brian and Angus, we couldnt see the big screens and the sound was so bad we couldnt hear any vocals at all .. i think we must have been either behind the sound as if left the speakers or above it. The Pretty Reckless were inaudible, we genuinely had no idea of what Taylor Momsen was singing.. we only knew the AC/DC songs as the crowd singing along let us know what they were. Lesson learned as far as Croke Park concerts are concerned. First concert I ever left early. And in our immediate vicinity there were at least a dozen or more peopld we saw leave early too .. one couple left in disgust after the first song.. Is this a case of greed from promoters knowing they have artists that fans will pay to see, only to find out when the concert starts, that they only actually get to see some of the band, none of the pyrotechnics and staging during the performance, and they cannot make out the vocals from someone who is considered to be one of the best rock vocalists of all time .. the promoters and ticketmaster certainly did us a dirty deed, but it wasnt dirt cheap. ..

Read moreAttended Bruce Springsteen concert - organisation was shocking. Huge queues outside and none of the marshalls were directing people or had any clue what was going on, appeared to be two queues merging into one for the red zone, which were down to a lack of direction. In the end, a marshall appeared telling people to just push into the queue wherever, despite some of us already being in the queue over an hour, and then said it's basically a free for all, just ignore the queue and head to gates. Eventually got in at 6.45, then stuck in a queue for drinks where the staff couldn't even change a beer barrel and had to wait for a supervisor to appear and sort it. Seating is quite cramped, and who'd expect seat 1 to be in the middle, next to seat 28?? Made no sense at all... On the way out, marshalls tried to redeem themselves by forming a human chain to stop people going out of different gates, but just moved the chaos to outside the gates instead 🙈 Thankfully The Boss was amazing, and although the queues for the train looked horrendous, they were well managed and we got on quickly. We've been to Croke for a concert about 6yrs ago and it was much better organised, but would be very reluctant to go back after...
