The first thing you see is a machine demanding money. Just to make sure you don't miss it they put three arrows on it. Very spiritual. Tge second thing you see is a box demanding more money. Not a good start. The church itself is a sadly badly restored (or vandalised) 19th century church. It would have been quite impressive before they knocked all the plaster off the walls, took off the roof and shoved on an ugly heavy copper roof out of all proportion and added a few girders just for the hell of it. It is neither one thing nor another and just leaves one feeling empty and sad. Go the Díseart gardens next door. They're much nicer and they don't try to mug you for money.

Popped in while waiting for a table at dinner across the street. Was quite impressed with the architecture and stained glass. Seemed like a very spiritual place. Very old with lots of rock. It was extremely quiet when we stopped by. I did not notice parking, and it is down a pretty narrow street. Probably better to just park somewhere in Dingle and walk to it.

I think this is a stunning church. The stain glass windows pop and compliment the bare stone walls. Our visit coincided with a wedding being set up, making it all the more elegant. You do not have to make a donation if you so wish. I believe the donation by tapping and the envelope drop box is a legacy of covid, which suits a lot of parishioners.

It's a beautiful atmospheric church. And a unique one. I was wondering why it looks different and unusual, until someone pointed out that the pillars are missing! So at some point they must have taken down all the pillars which makes the inside of the church unusually wide.

The Christmas concert was also a very nice experience in this place with such a...
