St. Canice's Church — Attraction in The Municipal District of Kilkenny City

I recently visited the cathedral in Kilkenny with my girlfriend, and while the staff were extremely friendly and a pleasure to chat with, the overall experience left me feeling disappointed.

We paid €18 for entry, which included access to the cathedral and the tower. Unfortunately, the cathedral itself felt quite standard, similar to many other churches we've visited for free....And didn't offer anything particularly unique or memorable. The tower climb, while providing a decent view, was just a series of steep stairs leading to the top. Nothing that justified the high admission fee.

I couldn't shake the feeling that I was missing something or that I had been overcharged for what was offered. While the hospitality was top notch, the value for money simply wasn't there. If you're expecting something extraordinary, you might end up feeling a bit ripped...
