Delicious food.
The service was a little slow, but they were pretty busy.
The restaurant is nice and warm and cozy. Nicely decorated. Comfortable.
We ordered the mussels as an appetizer. It’s a very big portion. Not a bad deal for €14. They were delicious! The sauce was great. You could use the bread that they brought to the table to eat the sauce, but the bread fell apart easily.
We both ordered a glass of wine with our meals. I ordered the catch of the day, Sol. My husband ordered the spaghetti bolognese. Both were excellent. The fish was a little greasy. I would have preferred it to be grilled, or baked instead of fried. But it was good and I liked the steamed vegetables on the side. I tried the potatoes. Not my favorite way to prepare them, so I skipped them. I was full anyway. My husband loved his pasta. He used to order that everywhere we went. He stopped because it started to give him heartburn. But he saw that it was their most popular menu item, so he decided to try it. Sure enough, it was prepared perfectly and he had no issues at all. He really enjoyed it.
Altogether our meal was around €80. I like that they have Italians working there. It’s more likely to get authentic Italian food.
I would return again. But I hope they get some healthier options...

A lovely looking place with a few small signs of a lack of long term TLC: our table for example had a hole in it. The staff were absolutely lovely.
The food? Well everything bar the main proteins in the meals were lovely, beautiful chips, lovely sauces, the bruschetta was large and tasty, despite being serviced on a fresh pizza base instead of the more usual baguette. The vegetables were streamed broccoli and carrots, although it would have been far nicer to have something more traditionally Italian.
The meats however were surprisingly bland in comparison, and really tasted like they'd be prepared a day or two beforehand.
Look, you get exceptionally large portions and it was all absolutely perfectly adequate, but we chose the place as the food had a more rustic look to it compared to the more high brow Italian restaurants in the city. It didn't quite cut it on that score, and at €75 for one starter, two mains and a bottle of wine, we did wonder of we'd have been better off at one of the more high brow places. Do check it out though, it...
Read moreSadly it won't be 5 stars ... Place is nice , clean and tidy. Food was very nice , my pizza on very thin crust was just amazing, pasta for my friends was also marvelous...but .. female waitress was totally not understanding what is she asking for. We asked for separate bills ( something normal if you are with friends and everyone wants to pay separately 🤣 or different way...) And she made anyway one bill but (she was so clever 🤣) on paper she wrote who is paying and how much for their food , but everything was as one bill... Even when she was asked she was saying that she made separate bills.... And at the end she wasn't really happy because of that she didn't get a tip . Seperte bills darling means "sperate bills for everyone how wants it's " it's not mean that you will wrote down who's owning and paying for what on small paper , with hand writing (that was almost unreadable by the way ;) dear restaurant, please train your young waitress with meanings of split bills and your place will be better...
