Read moreFirst time here and experience was very up and down. Table was booked for 20:30 but they rang us at 20:00 to say they can take us earlier so we got a taxi straight away and where on the premises at 20:15.
Upon arrival stays were so so nice, we were seated and looked after very wellâŠâŠ for a time. We were halfway through our main and I noticed the music was turned off, staff were going around taking everything off unoccupied tables and putting them away which I thought was odd. I went onto google to check there opening hours and they closed at 21:00 đ€ we were halfway through our mains at 21:23 and didnât understand what was going on. Why have booking at 20:30 if you close at 21:00.
Anyway we finished our mains and upon looking around further the hole staff was packing up absolutely everything so we didnât even bother ordering dessert as we felt like thar uncomfortable and that we were holding everyone up. This is an awful way to run a business, âŹ135 for two starters, two mains and two cocktails and two bottles of coors to have people cleaning everything up around you and making people feel that uncomfortable to not even order a dessert.
Look lessons learned I wouldnât be in a hurry back but sort this out if you all are in that much of a hurry home donât book...

This charming gem of a restaurant is owned by Matt, a passionate cow farmer who raises 250 head of Hereford and Angus beef right here in the local fields. No hormones, no water-pumped fluffâjust pure, grass-fed goodness butchered on-site. Matt spent a delightful 10 minutes at our table, sharing how he went from selling his premium beef to the previous owner to impulsively taking the reins himself. His mission? To serve honest, high-quality beef that shuns the bloated, hormone-heavy cuts flooding American menus. Itâs all about flavor over flash here, with a nod to classic home cooking. The vibes are warm, the sides are playful, and the cocktails? Absolute perfection. You have to order the âCowboy,â a jaw-dropping 14oz bone-in rib eye thatâs pure melt-in-your-mouth magic. Service strikes the perfect balanceâswift but never rushed. Look up, and youâll spot the quirky cow bars lining the ceiling, a nod to Mattâs inspiration from another U.S. restaurant, now adorned with hooks holding twinkling lights instead of meat. Donât sleep on this hidden treasureâButcherâs prices are as reasonable as its portions are generous. Trust me, this is a dining experience you...
