Unfortunately I had a bad experience with the shop in the Cathedral, their card reader was having problems (that I was told) and the first attempt supposedly failed… so we tried again and it worked. Both times it took longer than normal, they were using a small portable one… so as you can already imagine I got charged twice… and it was a purchase of €24… I put a complain with my bank buy after more than a month nothing reimbursed… so if you go there I recommend pay cash at the souvenir shop.
Update: 29/8/2023 A full week after sending all details to the email below, I had no answer... so all mentioned above maintains and add to that when notified they did nothing...
Read morePay for the guided tour! The church is beautiful but the guided tour helps you learn the history so much better. The tour guide, I believe it was Daire, but I'm not sure, was super funny, friendly and knowledgeable! He was cracking jokes left and right, you could tell he loved his job and has been doing it a very long time. He takes you around the chruch and up into the tower, where you can ring the bells!
