Took us a while to realise this is an area of Waterford, rather than a specific spot on the map! The triangle is a historical section of Waterford that was walled and fortified.
There is a model outside Reginald Tower on the water front (pictured) that shows it, and from there, you can get an idea of what the triangle actually is.
