Lido Hermeu — Attraction in Alghero

Very crowded and way too much space is taken up by rent-a-chair services which were not well used. However, the businesses had lots to offer and were friendly enough and didn't charge for the toilets, which was great because my daughter was going to explode. Very difficult to navigate on the beach here due to crowds (well, it was Saturday) but the waters were lovely and warm, but a little ... well, I don't want to say dirty because you might think I mean trash and litter, which I don't, bit remember that seaweed I was telling you about from the beaches closer to the city center? Well, it seems to start about here. Not a lot, like, you don't have to leap to get out of the water unscathed, but enough to kind of make the waters a bit less inviting. Though they invited me plenty and I spent more time in them than I ought to at my age, but I have kids so...

Dnes sme navštívili túto pláž a ako každý deň sme si išli kúpiť lehátka so slnečníkom. Keďže bolo pred 14h, chceli sme už lacnejší lístok, ktorý je po 14h, ale chýbala pol hodina. Tak sme si išli vedľa lehátka položiť veci. Ani minúta neprešla a prišiel k nám starý drzý pán, ktorý nás vyhnal ako tulávých psov!!! Miesto toho, aby v kľude povedal "dámy, pokým nemáte lístok zakúpený, musíte počkať za čiarkou" rozhadzoval rukami a zvyšoval hlas!!!! To čo je za správanie sa k turistom!?!?! Každý deň sme im platili lehátka, slnečníky! No sem už nikdy viac ! A dúfam, že to čítaš ty starý pán bez úcty k turistom a obzvlášť k ženám!!! Oggi abbiamo visitato questa spiaggia e come ogni giorno siamo andate a prendere le sdraio con l’ombrellone. Poiché era prima delle 14:00, volevamo già il biglietto più economico che vale dopo le 14:00, ma mancava mezz’ora. Così siamo andate accanto a una sdraio per appoggiare le nostre cose. Nemmeno un minuto è trascorso che è arrivato un vecchio signore presuntuoso, che ci ha cacciate via come cani randagi!!! Invece di dire tranquillamente “signore, finché non avete comprato il biglietto dovete aspettare dietro la linea”, agitava le braccia e alzava la voce!!!! Ma che comportamento è questo verso i turisti?!?! Ogni giorno gli pagavamo le sdraio e gli ombrelloni! E spero che lo stia leggendo proprio Lei, signore scortese senza rispetto per i turisti e soprattutto per le donne! Today we visited this beach, and as every day we went to buy sunbeds with an umbrella. Since it was before 2:00 PM, we wanted to get the cheaper ticket (valid after 2:00 PM), but there was still half an hour left. So we went next to a sunbed to place our things. Not even a minute passed before an old disrespectful man came and chased us away like stray dogs!!! Instead of calmly saying, “ladies, until you have a ticket you must wait behind the line,” he was waving his arms and raising his voice!!!! What kind of behavior is that toward tourists?!?! Sea and surrounding area really nice. Sand almost clean, nice trees. Pitty is that free area are small and there is no free shower only if payed for sunbed and or umbrella. There is a warm shower at beachbar for 2.5EUR.

Few days later we came back (as tge kids like the place), they dont give sunbed/umbrella as they are "overbooked". They are not...just give them to italien. Immediately saw 2 pairs get place. They were not prebooked. How...
