We've spent majority of our holiday using Lidos services - morning coffee at the terrace, afternoon at their beach area and the aperetivo in the evening, accompanied by a gentleman playing a piano and singing for THREE HOURS STRAIGHT with no break (British musicians would never!). Morning staff was very nice and helpful - in particular blonde lady and a gentleman with a beard - very kind and joyful. Evening service was much worse - I kept ordering at the bar, even though there were at least 4 waiters, they were walking around daydreaming as opposed to attending tables- no issue for me personally, it's August and they are probably exhausted after a season of madness. I haven't eaten here anything but pastries, so can't judge the food, but I am impressed how one establishment can provide so much entertainment throughout a day. Gentleman who was playing on 22/08 night deserves a payrise!!!...

If you want to sit outside, you have to pay additional money for the "service". I was waiting for more than 10 minutes to get the ice-cream I paid for, the staff just did not pay attention to me, and then they couldn't understand me because not all of them understood English, and they were so unfriendly that I just wanted to leave that ice-cream and to walk...

In the morning the staff placed us at certain sunbeds, and after several hours they came back saying those places were “reserved” and wanted us to move. One staff member even swore at us, assuming we wouldn’t understand because we speak English. To make matters worse, the way the situation was handled made other guests look at us as if we had done something wrong. Extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unpleasant service — definitely not what you expect when you pay for a day...
