Terrible terrible iced Americano.
They used hot water and made hot Americano and add ice late.
I even asked lots of ice and very little water. and when I received it was room temperature very watered down Americano. More like a room temperature water with hint of coffee.
It's so easy to make iced American. Just cup of ice with little bit of cold water and add two shots of espresso.
Honestly…just dont have it in the menu if you make it this bad…. ——
Re:
I actually saw her using hot water from the machine. The espresso machine doesn't dispense cold water.
Also, it doesn’t make sense because when the coffee was served, the ice had already melted. I even asked for more ice, but it melted right away. My friend ordered an iced latte, and I noticed she used cold milk; the ice in her latte lasted much longer.
Seriously, I drink or make at least two iced Americanos a day. Even when it’s 38 degrees out, the ice doesn’t melt that quickly.
The photo was taken just one minute after I got my drink. You can see there’s no ice at all, even after I added more.

I am not sure if this is the best ice cream place in town but it just might be! Honestly not sure how much gelato I have eaten while being on holiday here, but it was excellent!
The service is fast and you also get a little waffle stuck into your gelato as an extra bonus. I believe they have some more variation of flavours then the other places and I have seen them swap it over some days. However this place does get quite a large queue so you might feel like walking down to the opposite side of the tunnel and getting your cone at another ice cream place (Gelateria Monterosso Il...
Read moreBest gelato & cocktails in Monterosso for sure! We have had a couple of negroni and margaritas - they were quick to serve and seat us, the cocktails were generous when it comes to alcohol, the gelato was as well HUGE, and they also brought us tapas - salami, crisps, homemade pesto and fresh bread (as a complimentary from the restaurant). The cocktails were just 7 EUR and the view was priceless - on the main street right at the sea. We went around 8PM and enjoyed the beautiful sunset while enjoying their nice authentic music. I tried the Sicilian gelato with orange and lemon peels -...
