Bar Lo Spuntino — Restaurant in Monterosso al Mare

They have like 10 tiny tables outside and only one Lady that is trying to service the guest somehow; only after shaking hands the waitress came - that fealt like five minutes after I had told the Gentleman with the winter scarf "I will only have a drink". The table right next to me has being service before but ordered later. The scared guy told other guest "you must wait, there is only one waitress" - well that is his problem, too (my best guess, btw). After I kind of felt extraordinarily thursty I did pick the drink myself and the only idea the had was complaining - I for myself think, it is not going to happen like this at all! I above all do not recommend that place to anybody, if you would like to have a more than just good service - even when I arrived and the second chair was still dirty from a tomato of someone else, the "waitress" (I assume a student) was only misbehave be removing it, without cleaning afterwards - she only dropped it to the street 🤫😅😁🤦‍♀️😎. Since I used to be a professional restaurant CogManager I would have been embarrassed to ask like that at all! One last thing I do have to wonder about, the name is "Bar...." but they did not service any type of snacks with the drink - btw you would get them anywhere else, too 🤩 but not here... This place has got to have the worst service I’ve ever encountered - ever. There was a miscommunication with our order from their waiters. It was fine until they decided they didn’t want to bring back the right order after they made a mistake. They did not take any accountability or try to fix the issue. We understand that mistakes happen but it was when we asked for an update on our food after waiting for over 15 minutes, we got completely abused by a tall lady with brown hair at the counter & a girl with a shaved head, saying we didn’t order what we were asking for - which was completely false. We walked past about an hour later and got sworn at by the girl with shaved hair, don’t know what kind of business let their staff swear at people but they definitely need to learn some professionalism. They were all was full of hostility, aggression and super passive aggressive. After reading previous reviews, it seems like this is a regular occurrence and they struggle to take any accountability for their actions as their reply’s are always denied actions, sad for them really. Extremely rude waitress and servers here - don’t bother eating here unless you want your day off to a bad start. Wait staff asked us to pay €8 just for sitting at the table, and the waitress talked to us as if we were stupid when I asked about what was available in the menu and said pretty much 80% of what I asked for was not available when it was in the menu. Asked for ice coffee and was told it’d take 20 minutes. Food was pretty terrible too - came here for the views but didn’t end up sitting down and left with a bad taste in our mouths.

EDIT: This might be the most defensive cafe I’ve ever seen. Just read all their replies to bad reviews - they are just blaming the visitors and take zero accountability.
