After hiking to Castello di Arechi, I continued to the nearby Bastiglia tower. It is an easy hike. There is a badly maintained “nature path” leading up to the tower but the incline is not too bad. The tower itself is closed and there isn’t much too see. Unfortunately, most of the vegetation obstructs the view.

This place was closed. There was any information abiut that. But we have walked around and enjoyed fantastic views of Salerno

L'accesso al sito, come anche il parcheggio, è gratuito. Durante il sentiero ci sono delle panchine per riposare perché la salita è un po' ripida; ci vogliono circa venti minuti per raggiungere la Torre della Bastiglia. Si può godere di un bel panorama, ma la torre è chiusa e non si può accedere al suo interno. È una bella esperienza da fare.

L'accesso al sito, come anche il parcheggio, è gratuito. Durante il sentiero ci sono delle panchine per riposare perché la salita è un po' ripida; ci vogliono circa venti minuti per raggiungere la Torre della Bastiglia. Si può godere di un bel panorama, ma la torre è chiusa e non si può accedere al suo interno. È una bella esperienza da fare.

This is an old watch tower for the castle. Although there are signs and information for it it hasn't been maintained at all so you cannot go inside or up the tower which is very unfortunate. You would get spectacular views...

Torre medievale alla sommità di una collina vicina al castello di Arechi, soggetta ai medesimi orari di apertura del castello.. Sentiero a gradoni ben visibile e non difficile sebbene sconsigliato per persone anziane e bambini piccoli... A passo normale ci si arriva in salita in 15-20 minuti. Ho trovato la torre chiusa al pubblico di sabato mattina alle ore 11 circa, ignoro come sia possibile la visita interna sebbene vi siano le infrastrutture necessarie per accedervi. Non vi è molto panorama alla base della torre a causa della vegetazione presente. Tuttavia vi è spazio per sostare e rifocillarsi sebbene manchino...
