Galleria d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea Raffaele De Grada — Attraction in San Gimignano

We had been in the nice museum this week for a short preview of the exhibition "all eyes on celebreties - ritratti di ken nahoum"

It´s a small, fine Exhibition on the work of photographer Ken Nahoum at the San Gimignano Civic Museum. We were lucky to be able to view the expressive portraits of world-famous stars in advance while the exhibition was being set up. (Thx to Ken, who showed us his works before the official opening)

A visit to the beautiful museum "Galleria d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea" and especially the exhibition is worthwhile.

If you come to San Gimignano the closest parking to the museum is Parcheggio P3...

An interesting place to visit with some great artefacts. Lots of pots from archaeological digs, some put back together to show what the original would have looked like. I spent an enjoyable 30 mins there and the apothecary. Then the modern art exhibition upstairs was also of interest but I’ve been to a lot better galleries...

Misleading information advertised for "Man Ray Wonderful Visions". Viewed Man Ray exhibit but there are no original prints. Only a few contact sheets are by Man Ray, whereas everything else on exhibit have been post-printed and even solarised afterwards. It is not...
