Are you a Montalbano fan like me? If so, you will love this place. You walk into the police station with Catarella's office on your right next to which you see Fazio's office. You the left you find Mimi's office door -behind which you see a 40cm deep corridor 😀. And then at the end you step into the great Montalbano's office. Yes, I touched his chair, spent time looking at everything I had seen so many times on the TV. How much to see all this? €3 each. Bargain. Now back to the books, which, by the way, you should read if you have not yet indulged. They are funny, have a serious message and really give you a great sense of what the Siciliana people are like. And more to the point got me so excited to taste the food out...

We got a guided tour for the mayors office that is used for formal causes and the filmset of commisario montalban by a real great guide! She also knows a lot of the history of scicli and the region, she also helped us with a Tourist-problem, really very nice and helpful! The earnings for the tours are used for develop barrier-freedom/accessibility!...

Oramai non è più possibile prescindere una visita di Scicli senza andare al Commissariato di Vigata, l'immaginario ufficio di polizia diretto dal Commissario Montalbano nell'omonima serie televisiva tratta dai romanzi di Andrea Camilleri. Nella realtà l'intero edificio è il Municipio di Scicli, che nella fiction si trasforma nel Commissariato al piano terra e nell'ufficio del Questore a quello superiore. E' curioso ed entusiasmante entrare in quelle stanze...osservarne i dettagli visti in tv...scorgerne di nuovi...immaginare i personaggi che vi lavorano. Impossibile non riconoscere la postazione dell'assistente Agatino Catarella, la scrivania dell'ispettore Giuseppe Fazio e, in ultimo, la cattedra del dottor Salvo Montalbano. Il personale che vi guiderà nella visita vi illustrerà tutti i dettagli, raccontandovi ogni retroscena e togliendovi qualsiasi curiosità, con simpatia e affabilità. Ingresso a pagamento...
