Prosit Sicilian Bistrot — Restaurant in Scicli

We came based on many good reviews but I must say I was disappointed with the result. The location was good and atmosphere was really nice, as well as we had good service (although a bit more English would be appreciated). But unfortunately I was very disappointed by the food - I ordered beef with fries and salad but the meat was very dry (overcooked), fries very salty and salad was without any dressing - if there was some sauce or something to counter the dryness, this would be much better (I even did not finish the dish as it started to feel very heavy). Others were also underwhelmed with the food mostly due to blandness. Out of 6 people, only 1 person complimented the food. Possibly were were off season or there was a different cook that day, but I don't think that 4.6 rating represents the food quality. Still, if you are only up for drinks and good atmosphere, this might be a good place to enjoy...

Went to this lovely restaurant with a large group of friends. We arrived later in the evening at 22:30 and even though we arrived late we received the most amazing service!!! Thank you Antonio and Martina 'Bella' and the rest of the staff, true 'industry' professionals. The courses had perfect timing and even with a table of 12 all the entrees seemed to be served simultaneously, Bravo!! The antipasta dishes were exquisite,we had Luciano and Don Giuanninu. For my main course I had the Manzu, which was cooked perfectly to order. I experienced Vini Fizzanti and the combination of wine and carbonation was perfect, definitely try! Thank you for making our final stop for the evening truly...

Another awesome experience here! The food was exquisite. We were with two young kids and they gave us free potatoes to keep them calm. How very thoughtful! We were here two weeks ago and Hubbie fancied the pasta with sausage again and it was delicious. Greta our server was so sweet with our baby and our table. Bartolo the partner is amazing too. We asked him to give us a liquer representing sicily and he gave us a shot of amaro, so delicious. Everyone must try this place for the food, ambience and service, they have it all.
