Thermal Park and Spa Aphrodite Apollon — Attraction in Serrara Fontana

I was so excited to experience the spa here. I booked massages for two with a sea view over four months in advance and added manicures and pedicures a month before our arrival. All of which were confirmed via email. Yesterday I went to the spa in order to make sure I had the address correct as it differs from the location listed in the email correspondence. While I was told that yes I was confirmed for our massage appointment they were not able to do our manicures and pedicures because the technician is not there on that day. If so, why was my appointment confirmed? When We arrived today I was told in fact that they did not have an appointment in my name nor did they offer seaside massages in October when it is still September. When I presented my email confirming my appointment I was told they could get us in at 2pm. We had time slots for two and three. I figured they represented the two different treatments we were each having. That was not the case. I was told I would have to wait as they only have one technician for the two of us. I was told that I could go wait in the bar upstairs. At that point my patience had run out. The lack of professionalism, courtesy and service is severely...

Wonderful thermal baths and spa on a small seaside location near Sant' Angelo. I would have given it a 5 rating but it has some rough edges, largely due to a lot of adjacent construction and unrestored structures. (It's not noisy) The pools are different from others we've seen in that they are unfiltered, so not clear but still very clean. They drain and clean them every night! The unfiltered thermal waters give a rich experience and are supposedly more healthful. The layout is a bit challenging due to the terrain, with two main levels and 9 pools, plus a wellness center and sauna. It's on a scenic cliff overlooking the bay, so they really had to stage it like this. It does create a quieter, peaceful environment as opposed to a larger single layout. We enjoyed it. We planned to enjoy the therms for a day (not staying at the hotel). The location is clearly awesome and the therms offer 8 different great pools, as well as a direct access to the sea.

The experience would have been really really great without a poor organisation from their side: the price announced on the phone was 31€ if we pre-booked, otherwise 55€. We booked it in advance but finally we had to pay 40€ and no one from the employees has apparently ever heard about the prices announced on the phone by them.. (either someone is saying the wrong price on the phone, either the price changes every day....) as a customer not staying at the hotel you don't have a towel.

As customer not staying at the hotel, you really feel not welcomed. Not furnishing a towel when you pay for a day at the therms seems crazy..

There are improvements really needed for the standing of the location but it's still a great...
