Azienda Agricola Ca 'Dei Frati — Attraction in Sirmione

I had the pleasure of visiting Azienda Agricola Ca' Dei Frati, and it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. This winery is not just a place to taste exquisite wines, but it's a journey into the heart of wine-making tradition. From the moment I stepped onto the property, I was struck by the beauty of the vineyards and the meticulous care with which they are maintained. The winery's setting is picturesque, offering a serene and inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. The wine tasting session was a highlight of my visit. The knowledgeable staff guided us through a selection of their finest wines, each with its own unique character and story. The wines were exceptional, clearly reflecting the passion and expertise that go into their making. I was particularly impressed by their signature white wines, which were perfectly balanced and had a delightful complexity of flavors. Additionally, the winery also offered a tour of their facilities, providing an insight into their wine-making process, from the vine to the bottle. Vi har gået anbefalet af besøge Dei Frati, da det skulle være et smukt sted med gode vine.

Beliggenheden og vingården var flot, præsentationen af vinene var ligeledes super flot.

Da vi ankom blev vi meget positive, vi kunne se betjeningen ( som i andre anmeldelser får kritik) var “meget på” over for de midaldrende grupper, der stod ved disken og smagte vinene.

Vi satte vores børn (5 & 7 år) ved bænkene med hver sin mobil og så var mor og far ellers klar til at smage de vine som vi var sikre på at skulle købe mange af…

Vi blev hurtigt klogere og må bare konstatere at voksne i start 40’erne ikke er den kundegruppe som stedet satser på.

Vi blev sket ikke opsøgt personalet og måtte selv spørge om vi måtte smage deres vine. De smagsprøver vi fik, var så små, at det næsten var irrelevant. (Grupperne før os, fik langt større glas at smage)

Personalet fortalte intet om vinene og de ænsede os stort set ikke. Vi kunne heldigvis selv læse lidt op på vinkortet og få de basale oplysninger

Vi spurgte efter en rundvisning på stedet, men den skulle have været booket i forvejen - det er selvfølgelig vores egen fejl, men der var ikke ret mange gæster, så et sted med højt serviceniveau havde nok ageret anderledes.

Vi smagte dog 4 vine, to hvide og to røde, prismæssigt er stedet til den dyre ende, sammenlignet med deres mange konkurrenter og de brillierede bestemt ikke i smagen - måske de små smagsprøver var årsagen til vi ikke kunne danne et ordentligt smagsindtryk - vi fik ca 1 cm vin i glasset. By far de mindste glas jeg har oplevet i Italien.

Skal du besøge stedet, så lad ungerne blive hjemme og bestil en rundvisning i forvejen - jeg ville dog klart foretrække mange andre steder frem for Ca ‘Dei Frati - prøv i stedet San Rustico, her vil du opleve det stik modsatte - god service, imødekommende personale, store glas med vin og langt bedre priser - vinen er også bedre hvis du spørger mig.

The employees are very friendly and they know about they products, very clean, very organiced. It's a kind of an Apple Store, but with usefully products. It's allowed to taste 4 wines. Finally, we found out that they also produce/sell grappa and nearly olive oil. How ever its a celebration of wine. Try to come without the kids, for them it's boring. Pricing has a range from 10 to 200€. We have to come again ;) Hopefully, we can also try the...
