The staff can make all the difference. Our waitress went above and beyond great customer service. She met us with a genuine smile and nothing was too much trouble. I had a espresso which was really strong and nice even though it was in the paper cup. I can understand about recycling. There is road noise but my wife found it acceptable. When my wife left the table her food went cold it was no problem for them to heat it back up. We arrived before 6:00 opening time and there were people queuing to get in . Some were regulars by the way they spoke to the staff. When I search for the best value food this topped it up in the sense of the staff went above and beyond to make our meal a pleasure. I had a pizza Romana which had lots of toppings and the base was cooked too perfection and soft and crunchy. Even when I paid the bill I was asked sincerely if everything was okay. That to me is the sign of a great restaurant that wants nothing but the best to be served to you and at a value price our bill under €30. Thank you to...

Best pizza in Italy so far!

This local pizzeria is an amazing secret just a bit off the shore in Lugana. It does look like a small cheap take-away joint, but I doubt you find anything better in any of the fancier-looking restaurants at the main street.

We ordered to eat in, pizza burrata crudo di parma and pizza fungi. Terrific tastes, perfect crust. Even cheaper than what you could ever expect for tasting heavenly flavors like this. As they work mainly for take-away, you are expected a little more self service, but the staff is very polite and always smiling, even when they are non-stop pushing new pizzas into take-away boxes.

Everything gets a 5/5. If you want to eat perfection, but also sit fancy, don't change the restaurant but get the take-away and rent a yacht...

A place you can't help but love! We are Korean, and we visited with a strong recommendation from our accommodation staff. (Pension Mercedes) I wanted to eat a oven pizza and the result was a huge success! The family-run store has very professional and friendly staff. It's very clean and really delicious! Especially, the pizza dough is really delicious.
